The Main Menu for Velocity is pretty minimalist, showing you all of the aircraft that you can play with as well as a few limited settings. The game has not been updated since the removal of aircraft liveries due to Roblox copyright, meaning that overtime the game seems to be loosing content overtime.
Acceleration meanwhile has a huge array of features with many items in the settings being customisation. The game also features 3 different modes ranging from Arcade to Realistic to suit different players play styles. It must be noted though that many of the features such as 'ATC Mode' and many aspects of the Previous Flight Logs have yet to be implemented.
Velocity contains 8 different aircraft although with many of the aircraft like the Airbus A320 and the Boeing B737-700, Once you are in game it becomes very difficult to find any differences between them at all.
When you first start Acceleration, one of the first things you will realise is that you cannot yet fly any commercial aircraft and instead are limited to a single engine propeller aircraft and a glider. The rest of the aircraft have to be unlocked as you fly.
Velocity, although a lot cheaper, has only a fraction if the features and is no longer even supported by its creators. This game was one of the most groundbreaking games in the Roblox Aviation community due to its realistic control scheme and beautifully designed graphics and menus, but now it has been replaced by it's little brother and looks set to be made completely redundant once the high 'pre-alpha price tag' is lowered and more features are added.
If you have a budget then you can't go wrong with this game, but compared to the latest game it looks to be soon left in the dust.
Acceleration is four times more expensive than Velocity, but even in its early stage of development there is already a plethora of additional features that the game already has over it's big brother and after a little practise to get used to the controls I can say that it definitely feels more realistic.
Acceleration's 'Golden Falcons' look set to make this already expensive game turn into a cash grab though, but the content already available through the game already has a good few hours of playtime without DLC and it hasn't even left pre-alpha.
