If you want a high-output powerhouse capable of charging a laptop and two other devices simultaneously while driving, choose ROADRESS USB C Car; if you need a compact, premium-feeling charger that delivers balanced 45W speeds to two smartphones without taking up valuable space, choose LISEN 90W.
• ROADRESS USB C Car: Delivers massive 200W total power across three ports (two USB-C, one USB-A) with advanced heat dissipation, but its larger physical footprint makes it bulkier in the console. Best for tech-heavy travelers who need to run laptops and multiple gadgets at once.
• LISEN 90W: Offers a sleek, thumb-sized metal design with dual 45W USB-C ports, prioritizing aesthetics and space-saving over raw wattage. Ideal for commuters who mainly charge phones and tablets and value a clean interior look.
The ROADRESS USB C Car is built for the driver who treats their vehicle as a mobile office or entertainment hub. Its defining feature is the ability to handle three devices at full speed without throttling. With a maximum output of 200W, this unit can push 100W through each of its two Type-C ports while simultaneously delivering 60W to a traditional USB-A port. This configuration is rare in the market and specifically designed for scenarios where you need to charge a MacBook Pro Air or a gaming handheld like the Steam Deck alongside your smartphone and tablet.
If you drive an electric vehicle or a hybrid with high-power requirements, this charger addresses the specific need for rapid energy replenishment during long trips. The inclusion of a third USB-A port means you aren't forced to leave older accessories behind. Whether you are syncing data on a tablet while charging a phone and powering a portable fan, the ROADRESS handles the load distribution intelligently. It supports a wide array of protocols including PD3.0, QC4.0, PPS, SCP, FCP, and AFC, ensuring compatibility with almost any device you plug into the cigarette lighter socket.
However, this power comes with a trade-off in physical dimensions. At 3 x 1.8 x 1.8 inches, this unit is significantly larger than standard chargers. If your car's center console is tight or if you have a dashboard-mounted holder nearby, the ROADRESS might feel intrusive. Additionally, while it features an ice blue LED ambient light for visibility at night, some users might find the constant glow unnecessary if they prefer a completely dark interior environment. The unit also includes intelligent trickle mode protection to prevent battery overcharging, which is a crucial safety feature for modern lithium-ion batteries.

The LISEN 90W targets a different demographic: the minimalist commuter who values design and convenience over raw wattage. This charger is engineered for drivers who primarily use smartphones and tablets. Its standout characteristic is the "thumb-sized" form factor, measuring just 2.1 inches in length and 0.9 inches in width. This tiny profile ensures it sits flush against the car's interior without protruding awkwardly or blocking access to adjacent controls. The all-metal alloy shell not only provides a premium aesthetic that matches modern vehicle interiors but also serves a functional purpose by aiding in heat dissipation.
In terms of performance, the LISEN focuses on efficiency rather than excess. It features two independent USB-C ports, each capable of delivering a full 45W. This setup allows you to fast charge two devices simultaneously without sacrificing speed. For instance, you can juice up an iPhone 17 Pro Max and an iPad Pro at the same time, with both receiving their maximum supported charging rates instantly. The manufacturer claims this system can charge an iPhone from 0 to 83% in roughly 30 minutes, a practical benefit for those who stop frequently or have short commutes. The support for Power Delivery 3.0 ensures broad compatibility with Android and iOS devices alike.
This charger is also built with safety and environmental considerations in mind. It utilizes PC fuel barrier V-0 grade material, which is flame retardant and environmentally friendly. The intelligent power management chip works in tandem with UL, CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications to ensure safe operation under various conditions. Unlike the ROADRESS, which has a visible LED ring, the LISEN maintains a more understated presence, though it does come in a distinct Blue color option. If your goal is to keep your car looking uncluttered while still getting reliable fast charging for your daily devices, the LISEN is the superior choice.

After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases, I would personally buy the LISEN 90W for my daily commute, provided I am not carrying a laptop. The 90W total capacity is more than enough for two smartphones and a tablet, and the compact metal build prevents it from becoming a nuisance in the console. However, if you are traveling in an electric vehicle or running a road trip where you need to power a laptop, the ROADRESS USB C Car is the only logical choice due to its sheer output. For general use, the LISEN strikes the better balance between performance and design.
