This Privacy Policy describes how Terminal (“App”) handles information. “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the developer of Terminal.
Quick summary: Terminal is an SSH terminal emulator. We do not collect, store, or share personal data. We do not run analytics and we do not show ads. SSH traffic flows directly between your device and the servers you choose.

We collect no personal information. Specifically, we do not collect names, email addresses, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
During normal use, SSH credentials and session content are exchanged only between your device and the remote host you connect to, via the SSH protocol. We do not operate intermediary servers for these connections.
On-device data (if you choose to create it), such as saved host profiles or SSH keys, remains on your device and under your control.
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not use it for any purpose. Any optional data you proactively share with us (e.g., via support email) is used only to respond to your request.
The App requests only the permissions needed for core functionality:
Network access — to establish SSH connections you initiate.
Local storage (optional) — to store keys or host profiles on-device, if you choose to use these features.
Notifications / foreground service (optional) — to keep long-running sessions and show status (if implemented).
Data accessed via these permissions is not transmitted to us.
We do not share data with third parties. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
Note: Your device manufacturer, operating system, or app store may collect diagnostic information independently of us.
We retain no personal data. On-device data (keys, profiles, known hosts) persists only on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. If you contact support, we may retain your email solely to address the request and as required by law.
SSH traffic is encrypted between your device and your chosen server. We do not control the security of your remote servers or networks. Protect private keys with passphrases and keep your device secure.
Since we do not collect personal data, many data‑protection rights may not apply. If you contact us, you can request access to or deletion of the information you provided in that communication.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not transfer your data to our servers because we do not collect it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available at this URL and indicate the “Last updated” date.
