Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1998, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science. The department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology industry in India and abroad.

The Department has started M.Sc.(Computer Science) course in the year 2001 with the aim to develop core competence in Computer Science and prepare the students to carry out software development work The department having well qualified dedicated faculty team. The Department has well equipped 5 computer laboratories with 150 computers and computing equipment supported by high speed Internet and wireless networks.

Department arranged guest lecturers of academic experts and industrial experts for students. Department organized “Rule D eXcellence” (RDX) Inter Collegiate competition which include activities like “C” Programming, Poster Presentation, Seminar, Quiz, Project competition. Campus interviews arranged for final year students of B.Sc(Computer Science) and M.Sc(Computer Science).
