If you want a protective carry case for compatible Sony earbuds for running, choose RLSOCO Carrying Case; if you need AirPods 4 silicone covers and a cleaning pen, choose XMBYGY Pen Case. The key difference is what each package is designed to protect: RLSOCO is a separate hard case for select Sony earbud charging cases, while XMBYGY supplies silicone covers and cleaning tools for AirPods 4. Neither product is a pair of headphones.

RLSOCO Carrying Case vs XMBYGY Pen Case at a Glance
• XMBYGY’s biggest strength: three silicone cases for AirPods 4, plus a cleaning pen with a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal tip. Its trade-off is that it fits AirPods 4 only, not earlier AirPods generations or AirPods Pro.
• Choose RLSOCO if you own one of the listed Sony models and want a separate, more structured storage case for carrying the charging case.
• Choose XMBYGY if you own AirPods 4 and want silicone covers together with a small set of cleaning tools.
• These are accessories for different earbud families, not alternatives for someone choosing between two headphone models. Confirm compatibility before deciding.
RLSOCO is a dedicated carrying case for the charging cases of the Sony WF-C510, WF-C710N, WF-C700N, and WF-C500. It uses high-density EVA with polyester fiber and is described as water-resistant, dust-resistant, and shock-resistant. That combination makes it the more structured option here: it is meant to put a protective shell around the earbud charging case, rather than simply act as a soft cover.
For daily routines, the design makes sense if you move between a commute, work, and a workout and want the Sony charging case in a separate protective enclosure inside a bag or pocket. The product is described as compact and suitable for carrying in a purse, backpack, handbag, or pocket. For running, that is a useful role when your earbuds are not in your ears and you want to carry the charging case with your other essentials. It does not tell us anything about headphone sound, fit, battery life, or transparency mode; this is a storage accessory, not audio gear.
The trade-off is that it is an extra case around the earbuds’ own charging case, not a replacement charging case. It is also model-specific, and the earbuds and accessories are not included. RLSOCO lists a two-year warranty, and describes the EVA as thicker to help the case resist deformation. The available details do not specify exact dimensions, so I would not assume how much space it takes up relative to another case.

XMBYGY is a different kind of bundle. It includes three silicone cases designed specifically for AirPods 4 and a cleaning pen with a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal tip. The silicone covers are intended to protect the AirPods 4 charging case, while the cleaning tool offers several types of surfaces for removing dust or stubborn dirt from headphones. Those are separate jobs: the covers protect the case, and the pen is for cleaning.
The bundle suits an AirPods 4 owner who wants a soft silicone option and likes having multiple covers available. The listed package contents are three silicone cases and one cleaning pen, with earbuds not included. Its cartoon styling is a clear part of the appeal, but the case’s most important practical point is compatibility. The product sheet says it is not for AirPods 1st or 2nd generation, AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2, or AirPods 3rd generation. If you are buying for a family member, check the exact AirPods model rather than relying on the brand name alone.
Its main trade-off beside RLSOCO is the material and protection approach. Silicone provides a flexible cover for the charging case; it is not the same as a separate high-density EVA hard case. The product is described as portable and as offering impact protection, but no precise dimensions or specific water- or dust-resistance claims are provided. The listed warranty is six months.
Who should skip it: skip XMBYGY if you do not have AirPods 4, want a hard storage shell for one of the listed Sony models, or do not need the cleaning pen and extra silicone covers.
• Own Sony WF-C510, WF-C710N, WF-C700N, or WF-C500 → RLSOCO. Those are the models the separate EVA case is designed to fit.
• Own AirPods 4 → XMBYGY. Its silicone cases are specified for AirPods 4, and the bundle includes a cleaning pen.
• Want a more structured outer case for carrying an earbud charging case → RLSOCO. High-density EVA and claims of shock, dust, and water resistance point toward a protective enclosure for storage and transport.
• Prefer a silicone cover rather than an extra hard case → XMBYGY. Its silicone design covers the AirPods 4 charging case, while the cleaning pen adds a separate maintenance tool.
• Want a bundle with multiple covers → XMBYGY. The package lists three silicone cases, plus one cleaning pen.
• Want the longer stated warranty → RLSOCO. Its listed warranty is two years; XMBYGY’s is six months.
• Need a case for running-day carry of compatible Sony earbuds → RLSOCO. It is a case for taking the Sony charging case along; it does not provide earbuds or running-specific audio features.
• Shopping for deep bass ear clip headphones for running, the best transparency mode sports earbuds for running, or the best wireless earbuds for running → neither. These products are cases and a cleaning kit. They provide no specifications for sound, ear-clip fit, transparency mode, or wireless-earbud performance.
I would choose RLSOCO Carrying Case if I owned one of its listed Sony models and wanted a more structured case for carrying the charging case during a running routine. The EVA construction and two-year warranty make it the more compelling storage accessory in this matchup, in my opinion. For AirPods 4 owners who specifically want silicone covers and a cleaning pen, XMBYGY is the relevant choice instead. My running pick is RLSOCO, but only for compatible Sony earbuds.
Buying Considerations
Before choosing either product, check the exact model of your earbuds. RLSOCO is specified for four Sony models, while XMBYGY is specified for AirPods 4; neither product’s compatibility should be assumed to extend to other versions. Also check what is included: RLSOCO is a case only, and XMBYGY includes silicone covers and a cleaning pen but not the earbuds.
Think about how you want to carry and protect the charging case. RLSOCO is the option with a high-density EVA outer case and stated resistance to water, dust, and shock. XMBYGY is a silicone cover bundle with a cleaning tool. The details do not establish that either accessory makes earbuds waterproof or changes their audio performance, so do not treat a case’s protection claims as a feature of the headphones themselves.
No. It is listed for Sony WF-C510, WF-C710N, WF-C700N, and WF-C500 earbuds. The earbuds and accessories are not included, and AirPods compatibility is not listed.
No. It is specified for AirPods 4 and explicitly excludes AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 3, and the first- and second-generation AirPods. Check your exact model before buying.
For someone carrying compatible Sony earbuds, RLSOCO is the more structured option because it uses high-density EVA and is described as shock-, dust-, and water-resistant. XMBYGY is intended for AirPods 4 and provides silicone covers rather than a separate EVA storage case.
No. RLSOCO is a case only, and XMBYGY includes three silicone cases and one cleaning pen. Neither package includes earbuds.
