Theoretical Cosmology group

Department of Physics, IISc Bangalore

Group leader: Dr. Rajeev Kumar Jain

Our group is interested in a broad range of topics in the early universe cosmology, focussing primarily on the physics of inflation, their imprints on the cosmic microwave background radiation, formation of primordial black holes as dark matter and their resulting observational imprints such as secondary gravitational waves, generation of primordial magnetic fields during inflation and associated non-Gaussianities, cosmological imprints of gauge/spectator fields during inflation, axion field dynamics, aspects of dark matter and relativistic effects in large scale structure.
