As a Product Management student who handles product management projects from AlteaCare, I and my fellows coordinate with Product Managers from AlteaCare directly to identify the problem and propose a solution based on insight and data given by AlteaCare's Team, and problems faced by users recently.
My involvement in this project consists of several main tasks, namely:
Helps in identifying problems faced by startups by using problem statements and proposing solutions.
Conducting research, structuring the key flow, creating product requirements documents (PRD), NPI, GTM, product roadmap, user persona, customer journey map, and product prioritization, and helping prepare pitch decks.
Develop features and make strategic plans to increase the number of user satisfaction, as well as increase the number of orders and revenue.
AlteaCare is a digital healthcare and wellness platform that aims to provide Indonesians with better access to high-quality medical care and personalized services. AlteaCare's vision is to become a digital gateway that connects hospitals with patients, especially those who have difficulty accessing health services. Meanwhile, their mission is to bridge the interaction between patients and doctors through an integrated and complete service platform solution.
This project was based on the problems experienced by patients when carrying out administration in existing health services, where currently to order services, patients are faced with long queues, and complex administration, which takes up a lot of time.
In recent years, demand for digital health services has increased rapidly in Indonesia. With so many competitors having similar services, AlteaCare must continue to innovate and remain superior to its competitors. Digital health service applications in Indonesia are competing to become health service platforms with various attractive and easy-to-use features, including consultations with specialist doctors, called Teleconsultation. However, some conditions sometimes have limitations, such as teleconsultation which has limitations in carrying out examination procedures that must be carried out physically for faster and more accurate medical treatment. 70% of health examination cases require laboratory examination to obtain appropriate medical diagnosis and treatment. Inappropriate treatment results in patient trust and satisfaction decreasing to 85% compared to the patient satisfaction standard of 95%.
Teleconsultation has limitations in carrying out examination procedures that must be carried out physically, causing inappropriate medical treatment for patients.
In the medical examination process, 70% of cases require laboratory examination to obtain a diagnosis and appropriate medical treatment.
Inappropriate handling resulted in patient confidence and satisfaction decreasing to 85% compared to the standard patient satisfaction of 95%.
Common problems that are often found in hospital services are long queues which make patient waiting times inefficient, and delays in laboratory test results which can result in delays in the results the patient needs for diagnosis or treatment.
Based on that condition, we try to figure out the problems by doing research to gain insight and find out the solution to help AlteaCare keep innovating and remain superior to its competitors. In addition, so that services can be more effective and efficient for users, reduce waiting times, and provide convenience and comfort in the registration process. Based on the problems that have been discovered we decided to come up with the main feature, which is adding a new menu for ordering laboratory services in the AlteaCare application.
This service will make it easy for users to order laboratory services online, help users find the best access to laboratory services, help streamline waiting times usually faced by patients by integrating ordering services directly into the laboratory service ordering system managed by the Laboratory Admin, and perform direct payment via the AlteaCare application.
Goals
Increase the user satisfaction value of the AlteaCare application.
Increase the number of laboratory service orders in the AlteaCare application.
Increase the amount of revenue based on laboratory ordering services.
Key Success Metrics
Increase the number of AlteaCare application user satisfaction to 90%.
Income:
Increase the number of orders by 1,400 orders per month.
Increase total revenue by 42 million IDR per month.
