PROGRAMME

DAY 1

Opening Ceremony.  Official greetings by the school community and headmistress, presentation, students presentation, River Fair, trip from ISS Mario Rutelli to Oreto River – WWF/LEGAMBIENTE meeting point, to explore and discover the river and human activities (water mill, paper mill, etc.) in terms of relations with the river. The activity will be collaborated by WWF North-Western Sicily and LEGAMBIENTE. They will care the excursion along the Oreto and will drive all the participants to discover its historical/natural resources.

DAY 2

Trip from Palermo to Ficuzza , Workshop on landscape values making a guided tour within the forest and the Town of Ficuzza, visiting natural routs, archaeological sites and water springs. The activity is under the guide of ASTRID environmental association,  Visiting Busambra farmhouse, Visiting Scanzano lake.

DAY 3

Trip from Palermo to Selinunte, Visiting Selinunte Archeological site, Belice Oriented Natural Reserve, Selinunte seaside area and Selino River 

DAY 4

Trip from P.zza Indipendenza meeting point to Entella Natural Reserve, Visiting Entella Natural Reserve, Visiting Garcia Natural reserve

DAY 5

Visiting Capo Gallo Natural Reserve and closing ceremony
