Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
PTA exists solely to support public schools and the children who attend them. PTA also provides support to teachers.
PTA is a non-profit that relies on the generosity of volunteers and the community to fund enrichment for RTE students.

PTA stands for the Parent Teacher Association, a volunteer group who works together to advocate for all children in our school.

The River Trails PTA has been awarded Good Standing for the 2025 - 2026 school year for being in compliance with all National and Texas PTA policies.
The River Trails PTA has been awarded the Head Start Award for reaching 75% of last year's membership by August 31, 2025!
The River Trails PTA has been awarded the Early Bird Award for reaching 100% of last year's membership before October 1st!
The River Trails PTA has been awarded the Snappy Increase Award for reaching more than 100% of last year's membership before October 31st!
The River Trails PTA has been designated a National PTA School of Excellence, showcasing the PTA and school's commitment to work together and welcome all families, communicate effectively, support student success, speak up for every child, share power, and collaborate with the community.
