About me
I am currently an H. C. Wang Assistant Professor at Cornell University in the Department of Mathematics. I am primarily interested in Algebraic Geometry (with a view toward Commutative Algebra and Combinatorics).
I did my graduate studies at UC Berkeley in the Department of Mathematics where I was advised by David Eisenbud. Prior to that, I was an undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo.
Recent/Upcoming activities:
May 4-5: Together with Michael Perlman and Ola Sobieska, we are organizing an AMS Special Session on Homological Methods in Commutative Algebra & Algebraic Geometry at San Fransisco State University.
May 6-10: I will be speaking at Geometry of the Hilbert Scheme of points in Levico Terme, Italy.
May 23-25: I will be giving a lecture series on the Combinatorics of Hilbert Schemes at the University of Warsaw.
Teaching:
I recently taught a graduate course in Positivity in Algebraic Geometry. The course notes can be found here.
