Ritual ("the App") is built as a local-first utility. We prioritize your privacy by ensuring that your data remains under your control on your own device.
Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not require account creation, and we do not have access to your name, email, or contact details.
User-Created Data: All ritual tasks, step names, and timing histories are stored exclusively on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is never uploaded to any external servers or shared with third parties.
Analytics and Tracking: The App does not use third-party analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels to monitor your behavior.
Because your data is stored locally:
Retention: Your data persists on your device as long as the App is installed.
Deletion: Uninstalling the App will result in the deletion of all locally stored data. We recommend using your operating system's standard cloud backup features if you wish to preserve your data during a device transition.
While Ritual does not collect data, it is built using the Expo framework and distributed via the Google Play Store. These platforms may collect basic technical information as governed by their own respective privacy policies.
The App is not designed to collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no data is transmitted to us, we do not knowingly hold any information from any user group.
