This Privacy Policy explains how Rythmy (“we,” “our,” or “the Game”) handles information when you use the Rythmy game and related features.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information necessary to operate, improve, and support the Game.
Rythmy may process limited information required for the operation of the Game, depending on the features and services you use.
This may include:
Game progress, preferences, settings, scores, and other gameplay-related information.
Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, and diagnostic information.
Information necessary to provide advertising or other third-party services, when those services are enabled.
Audio files that you voluntarily select or import when using custom-song features.
Rythmy does not intentionally require users to provide sensitive personal information in order to play the Game.
Rythmy may allow you to select or import your own audio files in order to generate and play custom rhythm charts.
When you voluntarily select an audio file, the Game may analyze the audio to detect musical characteristics such as:
rhythm and tempo;
beats and timing;
musical events and transients;
energy and silence regions; and
other characteristics necessary to generate gameplay charts.
This processing is performed for the purpose of creating and playing rhythm-game content.
Rythmy does not claim ownership of audio files selected by users. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use any audio that you import into the Game.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise within the Game, selecting a local audio file does not mean that you are transferring ownership of that file to us.
Certain information may be stored locally on your device, including:
game settings;
progress;
preferences;
generated charts;
cached song-analysis information; and
information required for normal Game operation.
Removing the Game or clearing its application data may remove locally stored information.
Rythmy may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services.
Advertising providers may automatically collect or process certain information, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, IP address, ad interactions, and technical device information, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable law.
Where required, consent or other appropriate controls will be provided before information is used for personalized advertising.
Users may also be able to control advertising personalization through their device or platform privacy settings.
Rythmy may use third-party services to provide features such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, platform functionality, or other technical services.
These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies.
The specific services used by Rythmy may change as the Game evolves. Where required by applicable law or platform rules, relevant disclosures and consent mechanisms will be provided.
Rythmy is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise appropriately handle that information.
Parents or legal guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information improperly may contact us using the contact information below.
We do not sell users' personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, analyze, advertise, or improve the Game, or when required by law.
Third-party service providers are responsible for their own processing practices as described in their respective privacy policies.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by Rythmy.
However, no application, storage system, network, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information stored locally by Rythmy may remain on your device until it is deleted by the Game, removed through application settings, cleared by the operating system, or removed when the Game is uninstalled.
Information processed independently by third-party providers is subject to their respective retention policies.
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information regarding how your data is processed.
Where applicable, you may contact us to exercise these rights.
You may also have privacy controls available through your device, operating system, application marketplace, or advertising settings.
Rythmy may request device permissions when necessary to provide specific functionality.
For example, access to user-selected files may be required when you choose to import a custom song.
Permissions are used only for the functionality for which they are requested, subject to the technical behavior of the operating system and any third-party components used by the Game.
Some third-party service providers used by Rythmy may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where applicable, such processing is subject to the privacy safeguards and legal requirements applicable to those service providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Rythmy's features, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
