I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan, India. Before joining BITS, I was associated with PDEU Gandhinagar as Assistant Professor from Sep-2022 to Jul-2026. Previously, I was a Senior Research Associate in School of Computing and Communications (SCC), Lancaster University, United Kingdom, from 2020-2022 and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Bennett University (an initiative of Times of India Group), Greater Noida, India from 2019-2020. I had also been associated with the Department of ECE of National Institute of Technology Delhi, Delhi, India, as a full-time research scholar, where I completed my doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Tirupathiraju Kanumuri and Dr. Gyanendra Sheoran.

I have been awarded recognition as an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA, UK).  I have also visited the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong under the Research Student Attachment Programme-2017/18 (2nd Round) during Aug-Oct, 2018, where I explored various standards of hand/fingerprint biometrics with Prof (Dr.) Ajay Kumar. 

Earlier, I have received M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees in ECE from YMCA University of Science & Technology, Faridabad and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, respectively.
