Pressed the Pause Button – Just for Now

October 28, 2018

Hi friends!

Just wanted to share a quick update on where things stand… we pressed the pause button until early next summer. Nothing wrong, just had to balance everyone’s schedules to accommodate good weather for our story.

I’ve been asked by a few of you about donations. While we do the standard GoFundMe otion, there are other options for discretion. Please feel free to e-mail us to continue that conversation.

We’ve received a lot of beautiful and heartfelt testimonials and support from so many of you, and I wanted to personally say thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness. To dare to do something this different is a gamble all of us believe in. Love exists in countless forms, and at the end of the day, this is ultimately a love story.

Without risk, there is no love. Without love, there is no life. No living.

Thank you!

Untold Stories

July 27, 2018

One of the many wonderful topics that this project raises is the need for unconditional acceptance. Thankfully this film has advocates that are behind its message of tolerance and acceptance.

I sometimes think of the untold love stories that went to the grave. The countless souls who lived with the crippling burden of a pure, undying love. Long after you and I are gone, this will continue to be a “thing” with humanity. It is not going away.

Acceptance and tolerance won’t happen overnight. It’s a struggle that will persist for as long as our species endures. The good thing is that the needle is moving. With the advent of the internet, knowledge and intelligence has blossomed across the world. Projects like this can spur conversations and thoughts. Change can happen but we must accept it won’t be seismic in scale.

Where does bigotry originate? Is it tribalism? Is it religion? There are many opinions and thoughts, but at the end of the day, it all comes back to two adults who aren’t hurting each other. Two reasonable and rational adults who just want to be together.

But it’s not so much our story as it is yours. This is a story that so many live with day in and day out. We would love to hear what your struggles and successes have been! A private e-mail or message, we’d love to know what you’ve been up against with your relationship of unconditional love.
