This Privacy Policy applies to the Rise Up: Math mobile application (the "Application"), provided by Burton Barnes (the "Service Provider"). The Application is provided on an "AS IS" basis.
The Application is designed to work fully offline. It does not transmit your information to the Service Provider or to third-party servers.
When you install and use the Application, the following information may be stored locally on your device only:
A nickname or display name you choose during setup;
Game progress and statistics, such as rating, wins, losses, experience points, in-game currency, match history, achievements, and unlocked cosmetic styles;
App preferences, such as haptic feedback, theme (day/night), font size, and onboarding status;
Match settings and other gameplay-related preferences.
This information is saved on your device using local storage (UserDefaults) and is used only to operate game features, track your progress, and remember your settings.
The Application does not collect or transmit:
Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address);
Precise or approximate location data;
Email addresses, phone numbers, photos, contacts, or other contact information (unless you voluntarily contact the Service Provider);
Advertising identifiers or device identifiers for tracking purposes;
Analytics, crash reports, or usage data sent to external services.
The Application does not require an account, login, or internet connection to function. Any opponents or leaderboard entries shown in the Application are generated locally on your device and are not shared with other users over a network.
If you contact the Service Provider by email, any personal information you provide voluntarily (such as your email address and message content) will be used only to respond to your inquiry.
Because the Application does not send your data to external servers, the Service Provider does not routinely share your locally stored information with third parties.
Limited information may be disclosed only in the following cases:
As required by law, court order, or other legal process;
To protect rights, user safety, and prevent fraud or abuse;
If you voluntarily contact the Service Provider and provide information by email.
The Application does not sell your personal information.
The Application does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash monitoring tools, or other third-party data collection services.
The Application uses only standard Apple system frameworks (such as SwiftUI and UIKit) to provide its features. No third-party software development kits (SDKs) are integrated into the Application for data collection purposes.
You can stop all local data storage by uninstalling the Application using standard uninstall methods available on your device or through the App Store.
You may also reset your progress and remove locally stored data by deleting and reinstalling the Application, or by clearing the Application's data through your device settings where available.
Locally stored data remains on your device for as long as the Application is installed and you continue to use it.
When you uninstall the Application, locally stored data is generally removed from your device in accordance with your device's operating system behavior.
If you contact the Service Provider by email, correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period as needed to respond to your request, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect legitimate interests.
Upon request, the Service Provider will take reasonable steps to delete information you have voluntarily provided through direct contact, unless retention is required by law.
The Application is a math learning game that may be suitable for users of various ages. It is not directed to children under 13 (or such other age as required by local law) for the purpose of collecting personal information.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the Application does not require registration and does not transmit user data to external servers, the risk of collecting children's personal information through normal use of the Application is limited.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to the Service Provider through direct contact (for example, by email), please contact the Service Provider so that such data can be removed.
The Service Provider uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect any information you voluntarily provide through direct contact.
Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's operating system security features. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, including using a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other security measures available on your device.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version becomes effective upon posting in the Application or on the relevant policy page. Continued use of the Application after updates means you accept the revised Policy.
Effective date: July 4, 2026
By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you have questions about privacy or data handling, please contact the Service Provider:
