Riot Games Vanguard Download

After installing valorant my cpu was stuck at 100%, i figured out this is be cause is messes with the antivirus so i uninstalled everything. The cpu has gone back down but riot vanguard is still showing up as an app. is it still installed or no? I cant post an image but when i push uninstall from the apps menu it says the file cannnot be found

My friend had a similar issue, reinstalling the game fixed his issue, but before you reinstall, here is a fix from reddit: "I get this issue everytime the game updates. I have found a fix, it seems to work but kinda annoying. Start the game like normal, check the cpu usage of vanguard. If it's high, force close it from the task manager, then in game click "quit" when it says connection error. Then just restart the game and it should be fine. Mine usually goes from 40% cpu to 4%"

I did the steps to install in another disk other than c, deactivating the firewall and if when I entered the valorant it ran very well without a problem with the vanguard and my cpu but later when I re-entered lateragain I had the problem of the vanguard consuming between 30-40 of my cpu and I don't know what other solution I can use

Encountered the same problem. reinstalled valorant and riot but nothing changed. updated graphics driver and windows, still same problem. turns out the problem was discord overlay. just turn it off and you'll be fine.

i have found a solution that actually works.if your one win11 and get this annoying high usage just go to task manager right click on vanguard and click on efficiency mode it dropped my usage from above 80% all the time to between 40 and 60 hope this helps

Installing riot vanguard (riot games' anti-cheat software) causes the computer to temporarly freeze at random. It will appear to be frozen for a minute or two, and then recover and seemingly be working fine. This anti-cheat software runs at startup, and the problem happens any time the software is running. I already tried the Enable Meltdown-Spectre.cmd in the anti-cheat support folder, but it didn't help.

your best bet is to completely uninstall riot vanguard and valorant, like any other intrusive software, their approach is to have a low level hardware access to your system. the intention is to not let any piece of scripting software running in the background while you are playing.

I don't believe that's the case because Icue uses cpuz149_x64.sys to monitor system temps and voltages and that cpuz149 driver is vulnerable and exploitable hence why vanguard blocked it will vanguard whitelist cpuz149 i would doubt it.
