JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Tokyo City University, Tokyo, Japan
&
Visiting Scientist at the RIKEN Nishina Center, Wako, Japan.
Former postdoctoral researcher at GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research, Darmstadt, Germany
I am currently a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Tokyo City University, Japan, and a Visiting Scientist at the RIKEN Nishina Center. My research focuses on experimental nuclear physics, with an emphasis on the structure and reaction dynamics of exotic nuclei.
I completed my Ph.D. at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, where I worked on nuclear reaction mechanisms involving heavy-ion collisions. Following this, I conducted postdoctoral research at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research, Germany contributing to experiments at the Fragment Separator (FRS) to explore nuclei far from stability.
My current research interests include:
Production and investigation of the nuclear structure of exotic nuclei
Charge radii measurements of exotic nuclei far from stability
Heavy-ion induced fusion–fission dynamics
Transfer reactions in the sub-barrier energy regime
Studies of complete and incomplete fusion, including equilibrium and pre-equilibrium processes
Production of neutron-deficient radionuclides of medical relevance
Through my work, I aim to deepen our understanding of nuclear structure and reaction mechanisms, particularly in regions far from stability that are crucial for both fundamental physics and applied sciences.
