Welcome to Dr. Prajapat's webpage. I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt, Germany. I have completed my doctoral degree (PhD) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India.
Currently, I am working with the FRS (FRagment Separator) group at GSI to investigate the physics of exotic nuclei. My research interests focus Experimental Nuclear Physics, specifically on the following topics:
Production and investigation of nuclear structure of exotic nuclei.
Study of heavy-ion induced nuclear fusion-fission reaction dynamics.
Transfer reaction in sub-barrier region.
Study of complete/incomplete fusion and Equlibrium- Preequlibrium analysis.
Production of some neutron deficient medically relevant radionuclides.
Investigation of the role of neutron transfer and fusion hindrance in 28Si+158Gd at deep sub-barrier energies
