RINATO
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Hypersoft (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Rinato app (“App”). By using Rinato, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Rinato is available on iOS. Our Bundle ID is com.hypersoft.rinato.
When you use Rinato, you may provide the following:
• Photos and Images: photos you upload or capture using your camera for AI enhancement, restoration, colorization, unblur, AI photoshoot, avatar generation, and face scoring. This includes facial images submitted for the AI Face Score feature.
• Camera Access: images captured directly through the in-app camera for face scoring and avatar generation.
• Support Communications: messages or emails you send to our support team at support@rinato.app.
Rinato does not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or login credentials unless you contact our support team directly.
When you use the App, we and our partners automatically collect:
• Device Information: device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
• Usage Data: features used, screens viewed, session duration, and interaction patterns
• Advertising Data: data collected by Google AdMob for ad personalization and measurement (see Section 4.1)
• Crash Reports: technical data used to identify and fix errors
• We do not collect your name, email address, or personal account information unless you contact our support team
• We do not store your payment or billing information — all purchases are processed securely by Apple
• We do not permanently retain photos submitted for AI processing after your results are generated
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide AI Features: process your photos to deliver enhancement, restoration, colorization, unblur, AI photoshoot, face score analysis, and avatar generation
• Show Advertisements: display ads through Google AdMob to support free access to the App
• Improve the App: analyze usage patterns to improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Provide Customer Support: respond to your questions and resolve issues
• Legal Compliance: meet our obligations under applicable laws and regulations
Photos are central to Rinato’s AI features. We handle your photo data with the following commitments:
Photos you upload are used solely to generate the AI result you requested — enhancement, restoration, colorization, unblur, AI photoshoot, avatar generation, or face scoring. Your photo is never used for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
To generate your requested result, your photo is securely transmitted to Rinato’s AI processing service. Before this transmission occurs for the first time, the App displays an in-app consent screen that identifies the AI processing service, explains what data is sent, and requires your explicit confirmation before any photo is shared. You may decline this consent at any time, which will prevent AI processing from proceeding.
Rinato does not retain your photos. Photos you submit are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers and our AI processing service immediately upon completion of processing. No copy of your photo is kept after your result is generated and delivered to you.
Before AI processing begins, all uploaded images are scanned by AWS Rekognition, a content moderation service operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS), to verify compliance with our content policy and to detect and reject inappropriate content including explicit nudity, graphic violence, and other prohibited material.
AWS Rekognition processes the image in memory to perform this real-time check and does not retain, store, sell, or independently use your image data beyond performing this moderation check. AWS does not write facial or image data to persistent storage as part of this process. For more information, see AWS’s Privacy Policy at https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/.
We do not use your personal photos to train, improve, or develop our AI models without your explicit written consent. Your photos belong to you.
All photos are transmitted to our servers and our AI processing service using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption. Photos are never transmitted over unencrypted connections.
In summary, regarding facial data submitted to the AI Face Score feature specifically:
• We collect: pixel-level image data from photos you submit for Face Score analysis
• We use it for: generating and displaying your AI Face Score and breakdown results only
• We send it to: Rinato’s AI processing service (to generate your score) and AWS Rekognition (for content moderation only)
• We share it with: no other third parties for independent use, and never for advertising or model training
• We store it for: the duration of processing only. Your photo is automatically deleted upon completion
• We do not: store, sell, share, or use facial data for identification, advertising, profiling, or AI model training
Rinato uses Google AdMob to show advertisements to free users. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized advertisements based on your interests and browsing activity.
Data AdMob may collect:
• Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device information and identifiers
• App usage data and in-app behavior
• Information about ads shown, clicked, or interacted with
Important links for Google AdMob:
• Google Ad Settings (manage personalized ads)
• Opt out of interest-based advertising
Premium subscribers (Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly plans) do not see advertisements in Rinato.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple’s privacy practices govern all payment transactions. Apple’s Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy
We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used. These tools collect aggregated, anonymized data about App performance and user behavior.
Rinato uses a dedicated AI processing service to deliver our core features, including photo enhancement, old photo restoration, AI colorization, AI unblur, AI photoshoot, avatar generation, and AI Face Score. Before your photo is sent to this service for the first time, the App requires your explicit, informed consent through an in-app disclosure screen identifying this service and explaining how your data will be used.
Photos submitted for processing are transmitted securely to this service solely to generate your requested result. This service does not retain, sell, or independently use your submitted photos or derived data beyond what is necessary to deliver your result, and does not use your photos to train AI models without your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
• AI Processing: photos are shared with our AI processing service and AWS Rekognition strictly as described in Sections 3 and 4.4, and only after you have provided explicit consent
• Advertising Partners: we share data with Google AdMob as described in Section 4.1 for advertising purposes
• Service Providers: third-party companies that assist us in operating the App, subject to confidentiality obligations
• Legal Requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights, property, or safety
• Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction
The AI Face Score is a feature that analyzes facial characteristics in a photo you provide to generate an aesthetic score and categorical breakdown.
The AI Face Score feature analyzes pixel-level image data from your submitted photograph to generate:
• An overall aesthetic score (1–10 scale)
• Categorical breakdown scores for facial symmetry, jawline definition, skin clarity, eye area, lip shape, and nose profile
• Improvement suggestions based on the analysis
The AI Face Score feature does not constitute biometric data collection as defined under applicable law. It does not collect, generate, or store:
• Biometric identifiers
• Facial geometry or facial landmark maps
• Facial recognition templates or voiceprints
• Any data capable of identifying a specific individual across contexts
• Persistent facial profiles
The analysis is performed purely for aesthetic entertainment purposes at your explicit request and cannot be used to identify you.
Face data collected through the AI Face Score is used exclusively for the following purposes:
• To generate and display your AI Face Score result
• To display categorical breakdown scores, available to premium subscribers or users who unlock results via rewarded advertisement
• To display personalized improvement suggestions based on your score
Face data is NOT used for: facial recognition, individual identification, advertising targeting, user profiling, cross-app tracking, sale to third parties, or AI model training.
Your facial photo is transmitted securely via HTTPS to our AI processing service solely to generate your requested score, after you have provided explicit consent as described in Section 4.4. The photograph and derived analysis data are not shared with any third parties for their independent use. Your photo is not shared with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, marketing companies, or any other third parties.
Content moderation scanning via AWS Rekognition is performed before processing begins to verify your image complies with our content policy. AWS does not retain or independently use the image data beyond performing this compliance check, and does not write facial data to persistent storage.
Rinato does not retain face data. Your submitted photograph is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers and our AI processing service immediately upon completion of processing. No facial image data is retained after your session ends.
Derived numerical score results (the score and category numbers only, not the original photograph) may be retained temporarily during your active session to display your results to you. No facial image data persists on our servers after your session ends or after processing is complete.
You may request deletion of any face data we hold by contacting us at support@rinato.app. Because the AI Face Score feature does not retain your original photograph after processing, there is typically no facial image data remaining to delete once your session ends.
Users located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data. See Section 7.2 for full GDPR rights disclosure.
