Terminal Pressure is a high pressure, deceptively fast paced game made for PC where players must safely land swarms of planes while they flood the area, without letting them crash into eachother. The player must also adapt to events occurring on the fly, such as celebrity arrivals and planes catching fire!
Terminal Pressure was designed in collaboration with Aedanna Pty Ltd, who wanted a game to help train their customers in judgement and leadership. It was also created in a team of 8 students at QUT, including me.
As a designer also working as a programmer, I worked on:
Designing the core gameplay and interactions
Creating functional UI and integrating with gameplay
Adding juice to every slice of gameplay
Finding bugs and ensuring they get fixed
I've learned many things from developing Terminal Pressure, such as
How to improve player satisfaction in a game with juice
Also, methods of adding and implementing juice
UI creations and integration with gameplay
Working efficiently and effectively in an expanded team
Due to external affairs I am unable to provide a download site, but if you would like to play this game, please get in contact with me and I'll see what I can do!
