Unexpected trip down memory lane is Rihivi's 4th album. This album is the first of many experimental albums in his discography. It came out on September 10th 2022, exactly 2 years after the release of his first debut singles. It has a lot more rock inspired elements than his other albums.

Memory lane's album cover is a reference to Rihivi's Colours EP released in February 2021. The house also showed in the What da dog doing EP's cover art. The cover art is Rihivi's first ever fully hand painted/drawn album cover without any effects or text added to the photo. The deluxe edition of the album came out on October 31st 2022 including some remixes.
