Rifat's Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Entrepreneurial Success

Hello, I'm Rifat, and this is the story of my life's journey.

I was born into a humble family, my father working as a carpenter. Growing up in a poor village, I attended Abdullapur ML High School and later Mirkadim Haji Amjad Ali Degree College. After finishing high school, I landed a job in a technology company named Micrways Systems in Dhaka, where I dedicated almost 7 years of my life.

Life in Dhaka was a challenging period for me. While working, I pursued an Honors degree in Management at Dhaka College. I wore multiple hats, working as a tuition teacher, a software developer, and even a Journalist Staff Correspondent at Doinink Vor. I dabbled in web development, coding, and WordPress too.

However, during my Honors 2nd year, a health setback occurred – a brain disease that led to almost three challenging years in Dhaka. Seeking solace, I returned to my village and took up a role as an accounts key manager at Pubali Cold Storage and Ice Plant.

Life's twists continued; I left my job and faced significant financial struggles. Following the advice of friends and relatives, I started a small business in Munshiganj Court, gaining experience in online work, Bangla typing, and deed typing. During this time, I also completed my MBA from Dhaka College under Dhaka University.

A court notice brought fresh challenges, but I faced them with resilience. I moved to a new shop in Betka, facing initial losses and even selling my marriage gold ring to cover rent. Despite the hardships, my new business gradually found success. Customers responded positively, embracing our online services and stationary products.

Expanding our services, we introduced a Computer Training Facility in the shop. In 2022, I ventured into Provirtual IT Computer Training Center with a partner. Although initially successful, it faced challenges, and eventually, we had to close it. Shifting focus, we turned our attention back to the shop.

To transform the shop, we decided to turn it into a travel agency, issuing tickets and managing manpower cards. However, I faced a setback when a local travel agency scammed me for ticket issuance. Undeterred, I maintained honesty and dedication to customer service. After thorough research, I secured a ticket issuing system. Now, I proudly own Jakwan Travels, providing a range of travel solutions.

Throughout my challenging times, my parents, a friend, and a teacher provided crucial mental support. Friends, relatives, colleagues, and family supported me both financially and mentally. Their encouragement has been my strength in every moment.

My journey is a testament to perseverance, adaptability, and the power of honesty. I look forward to continuing this exciting journey and providing valuable services to all our clients.
