About

March 2018: Established

Just a guy, his cars, and a hobby. It all started with a MK3 Volkswagen Jetta and VLOG's/short films documenting its' modifications. This led to venturing out to car shows and local meets such as SlammedEnuff or Cars and Coffee from various cities and states and "filming" the builds and the people. What's been witnessed is one giant family - the car culture is definitely inviting if you have the right attitude towards others builds.

While venturing out to local meets, I've been able to document the car culture and thought that sharing the footage would be fun, all while trying to meet as many fellow enthusiasts and unique rides along the way. I wasn't wrong! I've truly had a blast attending different events, both small and large, and sharing the venues and rides I've seen. Some of my favorite builds on my feed I've been able to see in person.

Eventually, this infatuation evolved into an Instagram feed built for the followers that built their rides. OEM+, Modified, Track or Daily, if it's been modified or if it's an unmolested gem, it can end up on video or featured on the feed. This social media outlet has led to an even larger community of people that believe in Low Rides and Chill Vibes (LRCV)!

What's next in store? Only time will tell, but I appreciate you all for riding with me and I will try to keep it interesting!

Sincerely,

Paul H.

June 2018: Traveling across the United States in the MK3!

Cross country in 3,800 miles in 4 days!

Starting in Greensboro, NC and ending in Fresno, CA, I had the pleasure (and misery) of driving through the belly of the U.S. in an effort to make it back home. I can honestly say the MK3 performed perfectly! Not so much as a flat or over-heating issues despite the humidity or dry heat we encountered (I'm talking temps of 106+ outside!). I was very impressed by the 2.0 ABA motor that came with this fine piece of German engineering. I will not lie to you the car is not completely stock, as I had rebuilt the entire suspension with coil overs just months prior to making the trek. I'm also sure that and the recent maintenance to the engine helped. Either way, for a 22 year old car with over 188K on the chassis, the 2PTSLOW did just fine! If you want to see some B roll of the journey, feel free to go to the YouTube page and check out the VLOG's!

November 2018: The official opening of the Low rides chill Vibes online store!

With over 5,000 Instagram followers on the books (and counting), the trigger was pulled and an online store presence has been established! This is a huge step for RNV that wouldn't have been made possible if it was not for you all. With that being said, make sure you follow on Instagram for a special discount code!

The Shops inventory will expand, so check back every so often for other goods, including apparel and promotional discounts!
