The Capital Area YMCA provides more than after school and childcare because with so many demands on today’s families, parents need all the support they can get. That’s why child care at the Y is about more than looking after kids; they believe in the mission of fostering children's development and life skills in a safe environment with activities like homework help, physical exercise, arts, and multicultural exploration, promoting values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
