RidePool is an advanced ride price simulator which calculates the price of a potential ride from A to B within the US based on popular ride sharing apps.

It also simulates drivers around you which have been created using Faker.js. 

Collecting and Using You Personal Data

Your privacy is important to us. Your data is securely stored in our firebase account which is required for storing and managing your details. Moreover, your data is encrypted during transit. 

Permissions ( Location, Audio, Media Library Access and Camera Access ) : 

The app requires a few permissions to enhance its functionality and user experience. It seeks access to coarse location to provide approximate data for services like identifying nearby drivers and suggesting pickup locations. It also requests access to fine location via GPS, essential for precise navigation and accurate matching of rides. The app utilizes foreground services permission to allow continuous operation of features like real-time location tracking during rides, even when the app is minimized. Additionally, it asks for permission to record audio, which supports functionalities such as voice commands and sending voice messages, thereby improving user interaction and convenience. 

Optionally two additional permissions are requested: Media Library Access and Camera Access. Media Library Access allows users to select existing photos from their device for their profile, while Camera Access enables the direct capture of new photos. These permissions facilitate easy and efficient profile image updates directly through the app.

Childrens Privacy Policy 

Our application do not address anyone under the age of 13. 

Future Updates

We may update our privacy policy in future. We will notify any changes to the privacy policy.
