Short Biography

Greetings!! I am now working for Hefei University of Technology. In the past, I held positions at the University of Virginia and the Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech and a senior employed PhD fellow at the University of Southern Denmark. I also worked for Huawei Technologies for more than 5 years as a wireless research engineer after I completed my master's program at the Center for Combinatorics at Nankai University. I received my Ph.D. at Virginia Tech, under the supervision of Prof. Christian Reidys

What's New

2. My paper "RNA secondary structures with given motif specification: combinatorics and algorithms," (with Christian Reidys and Michael Waterman) has been accepted to Bulletin of Mathematical Biology for publication.

1. My technical book on communication and wireless communication “New Insight into Communication---from theory to practice” (China Machine Press, Beijing, 2013.4), now has released its 4th reprint and has reached 2,000,000 online reads from the cite http://www.txrjy.com/thread-458852-1-1.html , helped hundreds of thousands of engineers, scholars and students.(In Chinese: 陈小锋,“通信新读-从原理到应用”,机械工业出版社,北京,2013.4)

Research Interests

I am interested in Algebraic and Enumerative Combinatorics, Network Dynamical Systems, and their applications in Mathematical Biology and Complex Networks, Information Theory and Wireless Communication.

Collaborators (my Erdos number is 3)

Christian Reidys (UVa), Michael Waterman (USC), Andrei Bura (UVa), Henning Mortveit (UVa), Louis Shapiro (Howard U.)
