"In regard to my daughter's bridal shoot and subsequent wedding, some of my hesitations and fears about going through this process were that it would all be overwhelming, stressful and expensive and that we would have no idea on the direction we should go with the portrait or how to make decisions about poses. But, I can't stress enough how easy Rick is to work with. Not long after meeting with him, all those fears were completely gone! He is so professional and although he has a definite plan of what might be best, he is so willing to ask the bride's opinion and gives options on so many ideas. He never gets too rushed or stuck in one plan but is so willing to do various poses as the opportunity arises and change things up based on what the bride is feeling like she might want to try. I don't think Casey really knew exactly what she wanted before we arrived at her shoot, so she was unsure of how it might go. But Rick was friendly, calm and knew how to try different poses and props until Casey started to feel like she was more comfortable. Rick was in control of the shoot, but he let Casey direct it! I think that was exactly what we wanted and needed from our photographer! I would tell anyone who is considering hiring Rick that he was by far the BEST decision we made in hiring any of the vendors for our wedding. Rick communicated well, is very organized and also affordable. He is professional, considerate and THE MOST hard working, diligent photographer out there who definitely loves what he does.
