Millennium Andrus was born Aug 31, 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois to Milo and Abigail Jane Daley Andrus. Millennium is a pioneer of Richmond.
The Andrus family was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1832 and moved with the Saints in Kirtland, Ohio, and later Nauvoo, Illinois where Millennium was born. Soon after the birth, the Andrus family moved to Winter Quarters, Iowa to seek refuge and prepare to move west. Millennium's parents had a falling out in 1848, and because of it, Millennium's mother took her family except for her husband west to Utah. They joined the Heber C. Kimball Co. of 1848, arriving in the Salt Lake Valley in the fall of the same year.1
Millennium married William Frederick Fisher on Jan 1, 1861 in Salt Lake City, Utah. William and Millennium, with her sister Amanda Ann Andrus and her husband Howard Ransom Egan, helped with the foundation of the Pony Express in Utah. After the disbandment of the Pony Express in 1861, the Fisher family moved to Bountiful, Utah before moving to Richmond sometime between 1864 and 1866 where Millennium's family settled.2
In 1876, William was asked by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to preside as the first Bishop of Oxford, Idaho. The family moved to Oxford and made it their permanent home.2
Millennium Andrus died Feb 20, 1922 in Rigby, Idaho. She was buried in the Oxford, Idaho Cemetery.
