If you want a dedicated underwater audio companion with massive built-in storage and swim-proof durability, choose Rhyfell Bone Conduction Swimming; if you need a smart wearable that doubles as a POV camera for recording your adventures, choose Wmool E12.
• Rhyfell Bone Conduction Swimming: Its biggest strength is the IP68 waterproof rating allowing full submersion up to 5 meters plus 32GB of internal storage for offline listening; its trade-off is the lack of a camera or smart translation features. This pick is for serious swimmers and triathletes who prioritize pure audio performance in water.
• Wmool E12: Its biggest strength is the integrated 8MP HD camera with EIS stabilization for hands-free recording and AI voice translation; its trade-off is the absence of swim-proof certification and lower internal storage (8GB). This pick is for cyclists, runners, and content creators who want to document their journey while listening.
The Rhyfell Fit 5 is engineered specifically for the aquatic athlete who refuses to compromise on safety or immersion. When I look at the specifications, the IP68 rating stands out immediately. This isn't just splash resistance; it means the device can be fully submerged up to 5 meters. For anyone who trains in open water, surf breaks, or wants to take a shower with their music, this level of protection is non-negotiable. The design leverages liquid silicone and an ultra-lightweight 28g frame to ensure the headphones stay secure even during high-intensity strokes. You won't have to worry about them slipping off or filling with water when you hit the deep end.
For audiophiles looking for a hi-res neckband experience that works without a phone tether, the 32GB internal storage is a game-changer. Most bone conduction headphones rely entirely on Bluetooth, which can suffer from interference or connection drops if your phone is in a locker. With 32GB, you can load over 8,000 songs directly onto the device. Once synced, you switch to MP3 mode and enjoy a seamless underwater concert hall experience without ever needing to pair with a smartphone.
However, this device is not for everyone. If you are looking for a gadget that connects to your phone for real-time notifications, makes calls, or records your run from a first-person perspective, the Rhyfell will feel limiting. It focuses entirely on audio playback and battery longevity, offering 10 hours of continuous playtime. While this is excellent for long training sessions, it lacks the smart features like AI translation or video recording found in other market offerings. If your primary goal is simply to hear your playlist clearly while moving through water without worrying about moisture damage, this is the tool you need. If you expect a multi-functional smartwatch alternative, you should skip this one.

The Wmool E12 takes a different approach, positioning itself as a hybrid between a sports headphone and a wearable action camera. For the creator on the move, the inclusion of an 8MP camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) is the defining feature. It allows you to capture stable 1080P footage at 30fps without holding a phone. This is particularly valuable for cyclists or trail runners who want to document their route and share it instantly. The 8GB internal memory provides a decent buffer for storing these clips locally, ensuring you don't lose your memories even if the Bluetooth connection fluctuates.
Beyond the camera, the Wmool E12 leans heavily into the "smart" aspect of modern wearables. Powered by OpenAI integration, it offers instant bilingual voice translation and photo identification. Imagine navigating a gym in a foreign country or reading street signs abroad without fumbling with a translation app on your screen. The AI assistant helps bridge that gap while you keep your ears open to traffic and surroundings. The open-ear design ensures situational awareness remains intact, which is critical for urban commutes and road biking where hearing cars is a safety necessity. The ABS material construction promises a durable, non-slip fit that stays put during high-impact movements.
That said, the Wmool E12 has clear limitations compared to a dedicated swimming headset. There is no mention of an IP68 rating or waterproofing capabilities suitable for submersion. If you plan to dive into a pool or swim laps, this device is not designed for that environment. Additionally, the 8GB storage is significantly less than what Rhyfell offers for music alone. While 8GB is sufficient for photos and some video, it cannot hold the thousands of tracks required for a marathon runner's soundtrack without constant management. This product is best suited for land-based athletes, vloggers, and travelers who value documentation and smart assistance over total waterproof immersion.
