I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).
My research focuses on applying microeconomic concepts to topics in health economics, crime, and labor economics. I am particularly interested in the complexities of substance use and the impacts of cannabis dispensaries on the communities in which they locate.
