This year's art pieces for the auction were dreamed up by local artist and Heights parent Alana Davis. Every piece contains individual artwork from every student and teacher in that grade level, which Alana transformed into a class-wide masterpiece with the help of Mrs. Draney and the team at Paper Doll Studio.

The kids used finger-paint to make finger-print flowers, which were arranged to create a paper collage of Heights Elementary.
Kindergarteners used glue and tissue paper to create leaves and flowers, which were laminated and strung up to form a dazzling sun catcher.
Every child was instructed to draw a stick figure of themselves doing something they loved. These were then carefully hand-engraved on a wooden canvas.
Given a blank black puzzle piece, everyone let their imagination run wild using paint pens, which were then arranged, mounted, and framed to create a lasting piece of art.
Students were given three triangles and watercolors to paint whatever they wanted. After choosing their favorite of the three, they were mounted on pyramids to create a stunning 3D masterpiece!
For 4th grade, the kids drew abstract self-portraits, which were then scanned and engraved using a CNC mill, then mounted and painted metallic to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
The 5th graders got to experience a new artistic technique - paper marbling - where special paint is layered on top of water before the paper is dipped in to coat it with a vibrant swirl of color. Every student picked their favorite out of three attempts, which were then mounted and protected by epoxy to create a lasting modern masterpiece.
With only one year left at Heights Elementary, the 6th graders took pictures of things they cherish around the school, creating a poster collage of memories!
