幌内線萱野駅は1987年7月13日に廃駅となりましたが、萱野連合町内会が中心となり、ライダーハウスとして旅人をお迎えしています。

バイクはもちろん、自転車、車旅の中継地としてもご利用いただけます。

2024年５月より、昨今の光熱費・物品等の高騰を鑑み、１泊の宿泊料金を1500円とさせていただくことになりました。また、ノベルティのステッカーも一部デザインを変更しております。ご理解いただければ幸いです。

2023年5月より、奥の畳部屋に二段ベッドが入りました。また、母屋の裏手に停車している「車掌車」が女性専用車となりました。快適におくつろぎ頂けることとと思います。

営業期間 4月末〜10月末頃

金額 1泊1500円(2024年5月より)、ストーブは別途500円

受付方法 向かいの床屋もしくは床屋左手の踏切のある住居まで声をかけてください。
遅くても夜8時頃までに入ってください。

その間に清掃・消毒作業を行います。

連泊の方も外出して頂き、散策をするなど田舎を満喫してください。

※雨の場合は無理にお願いいたしません。

こんにちは。ライダーハウス旧萱野駅 オーナーの坂梨です。

ここは田舎ですが、のんびりと旅の疲れを癒やしてもらいたいです。
駅は別棟で管理人もいないので仲間同士でゆっくり語らってほしいです。
そして、三笠の良さも感じてほしいです。

Rider House Former KAYANO Station located in Kayano, MIKASA-shi, Hokkaido.

KAYANO Station was closed in July, 1987.
About a decade was passed, local neighborhood association and volunteers started this Rider House.
Here is not only for traveller by motorbike, but also by bicycle, by car, by train and so on.

We very welcome you to come and stay.

From May of 2024, We made a price revision.  New price is ¥1500 par 1 person a night.
Due to inflation. We hope you understand, thank you.

In May of 2023, We renovated our facility. You can stay in our new bunk beds. Or for ladies, you can stay in the caboose. This car is only for women.

What is Rider House?
Rider House is a kind of an accommodation in Japan. Especially in Hokkaido.
It is like a simple hostel.
At first, about few decades ago, there were a lot of young tourists went across Hokkaido. They loved to stay in cheap accommodation such as youth-hostels. At that time, they could categorized as two. First, traveller that using train or bus, called as "Kani-zoku (tribe of crab, backpackers. Because, on the train, they cannot walk well and they have to move like crab)" Second, traveller that riding a motorbike called as "Mitsubachi-zoku (tribe of honey bee. Because, sound of their bikes heard like bee soaring.  )"

Rider House also have two race. Originally started as hostel for Kani-zoku. and they welcomed to other tribe. Or it's for riders. 

You can find other unique Rider House. I hope you to travel Hokkaido or Japan to find your favorite place!

What we have.
We have toilet (annex building, western style), shower, kerosene stove for heating, kitchen, rice cooker, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine (¥50 for washing material), TV and so on.

Our Rider House located in far from convenience store or super market. When you stay here, we recommend that you buy something before your arrival.

If you have your own sleeping bag, you can stay more comfortable.

Information
Opening period End of April to end of October.
Price ¥1500 par 1 person a night.(From May of 2024)
If you need to use kerosene stove for heating, it costs ¥500
Reception Please inform to barber shop or a house with level crossing machine. It's located in reft of barber.
Please contact us before 8PM.
You do not need to have a reservation.

From 1/8/2022, We set check-in and check-out.

check-IN 3 PM
check-OUT 11AM

During this hour, We clean up and disinfect our facility.

If you stay for two or more nights in a row, please go for a stroll and enjoy  our country town.
We DO NOT forced to go out in a rainy day or bad weather.
If you have machine trouble etc. and need to stay another night, please let us know.
