Phil Sykes 

Head Professional


Phil is an advanced member of the Professional Golfers Association with over 30 years' experience in the golf industry both in the UK and Overseas. He has a passion for coaching and all things technical and enjoys developing players' golf games. As a regular traveller, Phil can often be seen at the local airport taking groups of golfers away in the colder months.

Harrison Brown

Assistant Professional


Harrison, who moved to the island in September 2021, has really enjoyed his start to his PGA coaching career in Guernsey. Harrison is from Brotton and previously worked as a Chemical Transport Planner before deciding to pursue a career in golf coaching and moving to Guernsey to do this. Harrison turned pro playing of a handicap of 0 and has played golf at Hunley Hall Golf Club since being a junior and has also played at county level for Yorkshire. Harrison turned professional of a handicap of +2!

Outside of work, Harrison is a big sports fan and can often be seen watching his childhood team Middlesbrough, or watching the Formula One, and also enjoys being out on the golf course.

Ronnie Casey 

Assistant Professional


Ronnie, who recently moved over to Guernsey form Fulham in London where he is from, he has recently begun his PGA qualification. Before moving to Guernsey, Ronnie was a master fitter at American Golf and then moved on to become a fitting rep for Yonex, before deciding to peruse his goal of becoming a qualified PGA coach and deciding to move to Guernsey. 

A member of Burhill as a junior and lifelong member of Malden Golf Cub, Ronnie turned professional of a handicap of +3! Some of Ronnie's biggest achievements are coming 2nd in the Home Nations Finals, 2nd in the European Open, and making it to the quarter finals of the Surrey Amateur Championships.

Outside of work, Ronnie loves to spend his time following his childhood football team, Fulham and also being out on the golf course.
