Controller: Dimo Rumenov Dimov, Veliko Tyrnovo 8, Pazardzhik, Bulgaria
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how REVIX (“we”, “us”, “the App”) handles information when you use the REVIX mobile application and related services.
REVIX helps drivers and riders track performance, navigate, manage a vehicle garage, and share road alerts with other users.
By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Who we are
REVIX is operated by Dimo Dimov.
For privacy questions: supportrevixapp@gmail.com.
3. Information we process
3.1 Information stored mainly on your device
Most of your personal product data stays on your phone, including:
Vehicle profiles (e.g. brand/model/type) and optional profile images
Ride / navigation sessions and GPS route points
Drag race sessions and results
Track sessions, lap data, lean/sensor calibration data
Garage records (fuel, maintenance, documents) and receipt images
Photos and videos you capture in the App
App settings (units, language, sounds, reminders)
Optional saved places such as home/work (if you set them)
We do not upload these session, garage, or media records to our servers as part of normal App operation.
3.2 Information that may leave your device
A. Location data
The App uses precise location (with your permission) to provide:
Maps and live navigation
Destination search and routing
Drag / track timing and measurement features
Nearby road alerts
Weather and elevation near your position
Location may be sent to third-party providers listed below in order to deliver those features.
B. Road reports (crowdsourced alerts)
If you create or vote on a road report (e.g. police, camera, hazard, accident, traffic, roadworks), we process and share with other nearby users:
Report type
Approximate/exact report location
Time-related metadata (e.g. created/expiry)
Vote information
An anonymous reporter/voter identifier
We do not require a name, email, or public profile to submit reports.
C. Anonymous technical identifier
For road reports we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This creates an anonymous user ID so we can prevent abuse (e.g. rate limits) and associate votes. It is not a traditional account and is not linked by us to your name or email.
D. Search and navigation queries
When you search for places or request routes, the search text and needed coordinates are sent to our map/navigation provider (Mapbox).
E. Weather / elevation requests
Approximate location coordinates may be sent to weather/elevation providers to show conditions and altitude.
F. Communications you initiate
If you email support, rate the App, open links, or share content (e.g. a video), the relevant third party (email provider, Google Play, the app you share to) will process that information under their own terms.
3.3 Permissions the App may request
Depending on features you use:
Location (including background/foreground service for measurement and alerts)
Camera (photos, receipts, track video)
Microphone (track session video recording)
Photos/media access (gallery pick / legacy storage where required)
Notifications (reminders and service notifications)
Battery optimization exemption (optional, for reliable background operation)
You can deny or revoke permissions in system settings; some features will then be limited or unavailable.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
Provide core App features (map, navigation, drag, track, garage)
Show weather/elevation related to your position
Display and distribute crowdsourced road alerts
Prevent spam/abuse of the reporting system
Improve reliability and user experience of the App
Respond to support requests you send us
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the App (based on current App configuration).
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data based on:
Contract / service delivery — to provide the features you request
Consent — for permissions such as location, camera, microphone, notifications (where required)
Legitimate interests — e.g. security, abuse prevention for road reports, basic service operation
Legal obligation — if we must retain or disclose information by law
6. Sharing with third parties
We share data only as needed to operate the App:

Open-Meteo: https://open-meteo.com/en/terms
Your device manufacturer/OS (Android/Google) may also process data under their own policies (e.g. system backups, if enabled).
7. Data retention
On-device data: remains until you delete it in the App, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Road reports: retained only as long as needed for the alerting feature (reports expire and/or are cleaned according to our service rules).
Support emails: retained as long as needed to handle your request and related legal/business records.
Third-party providers: retain data according to their own policies and agreements with us.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for a mobile app of this type (including on-device storage for most user content and access controls for cloud report data). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you
Restrict or object to certain processing
Withdraw consent (e.g. by disabling permissions)
Data portability (where applicable)
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Because most App content is stored on your device, the fastest way to delete it is usually: delete records in-app, clear app storage, or uninstall.
For cloud road-report related questions or other privacy requests, contact supportrevixapp@gmail.com.
10. Children
REVIX is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International transfers
Some providers (e.g. Mapbox, Google/Firebase) may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in their documentation.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Policy, unless local law requires additional consent.
