Music update (early testing) released. See patch notes

Public beta testing of music commands ended. Will be back online in few days. For now, music commands will be privated.

Turns out Music Update 5.5.0 was somewhat successful and now you can use "play" and "stop" commands! BUT, update is still not guaranteed yet. Here's plans about how this update will go:

[FIRST CODING PHASE]

Coding very basic commands.

[FEEDBACK & PERFORMANCE PHASE] (MOST CRITICAL) <--- we are here

Getting feedbacks about the command. There feedbacks are:

1 - Issues in commands

2 - Performance (lag etc.)

Performance is very important and if it's laggy OR it causes any lag in bot the update will be CANCELLED. This is deciding phase.

[SECOND CODING PHASE]

Finishing music commands.

[FEEDBACK PHASE]

Feedback about command errors and lag. Lag will most likely not happen in this phase if it doesn't happen in first one.

[FULL RELEASE]

v5.5.0 will be offical.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1 - Current "play" command ONLY supports video links. It will be able to youtube search in next update.

2 - This update will be tested for 1 week (testing performance).

3 - Performance feedback is REALLY IMPORTANT. Currently it looks like it doesn't affect bot ping but sound lag is the main factor.

Very exciting to see these features being added!

Patch notes:

• Added "cooldown & prefix" command.

• Customizable prefix! You can customize prefix by using "prefix set [prefix]" command or you can set it to default by "prefix set default" You can see the bot's prefix in the guild by just using the command.

• New secondary prefix for command: Bot mention - This will never be replaced with any custom prefixes. Made it so if anyone has problems with prefix they can use it.

About v5.2.5 release date: Planned to be released until 16th May.

About "Slash Commands": Today I tried slash commands but it's really messed up and current library doesn't have offical support either. So this will not come, but might come in future when discord improves it and makes it more stable.

About "Music Commands": In next update, I might try adding music commands for 3rd time. I tried it 2 times but failed multiple times.

Things changed in this update:

• Added a new command: leveling

• Added Leveling Customization:

=> You can now change leveling messages.

=> You can turn off leveling messages.

=> You can turn off leveling system in your server.

About v5.1.5 release, it is planned to be released at first week of May or before.

Things changed in this update:

• Added temporary NSFW restrictions for some commands.

• Changed name of currency command. (Now: balance)

• Commands that is being used wrongly will now give a better warning that looks much better.

Planned release date is unknown for now.

Q: When will the new version be released?

A: Planned in between middle and late april. Might be earlier or even later. Exact date is not known.

Q: Can we get some little leaks for the new update?

A: All leaks are found in Version Leaks Page

Q: Will there be an earlier release before v5.1.5?

A: Maybe. If there is a critical issue or something needs to be changed for public release, then there will be an earlier update. But that update will not contain anything new, just some fixes and little changes.

A lot more bugs were found! We don't want any critical or bot-breaking bugs that will cause annoyance. Bot release was planned in these dates, but might be few days delayed making sure there are no bugs as much as possible. Moderation & currency command bugs are the priority.

You can try v5.0.0 out now! Bot will be sometimes offline due to maintenance and bug fixing.

Lots of critical bugs found in v5.0.0! Before the release, bot will go through some tests. So we will have shutdown for a day. Version 5.0.0 will go live between 25-26 March.

I am glad to say that release will be earlier and planned between 20 March - 30 March!

This update wasn't planned but some semi-critical bugs were found.

Features: Added lock and unlock command. Locks/unlocks the channel by editing channel send messages permission. (Inspired by Dyno bot)
