Question: Hi Tien, we are facing an issue with the revision number.
The client is requesting to add the revision "B0" but keeping the previous revisions A, B, and 1.
Could you please confirm how we can adjust the revision in this situation? In the revision window, it only gives us the options to choose from numeric or alphanumeric
Answer: Could I know which version of Revit you are using?
Because from Revit 2022, we can manually customize the rule for Revision Number as the steps I show below.
Step 1. Go to View -> Revisions. The dialog of Sheet Issues/Revisions is shown up. Then select "Numbering". You can see the Numbering dialog
Step 2. Click this button to create a new numbering sequence
Step 3. Put it a name in Name. For example, B0. Starting Number: 0, Prefix: B as the image below then click OK.
Step 4. Create a revision using the B0 rule by selecting B0 in the Numbering list box, adding date and description then clicking OK.
Step 5. Go to the sheet you want to show revision B0 and select B0. This is the result
Step 1. Edit the Alphanumeric
Step 2. Add "B0" in the centre of B and C then click OK
Step 3. Check the revision dialog
Hope this helps!
