How to fix font errors when printing PDFs?

Question: Hi Tien, do you know why I get these font errors when printing PDFs?

Revit showing all correct but when printing PDFs I got some errors, characters became square symbols in some locations.

Answer: Please check the setting of the PDF as the image below. If the TrueType Font Download Option is Automatic, please change it to Outline

After editing the TrueType Font Download Option to Outline, the font errors have been fixed

Extra Note: This problem has been fixed on PDFCreator, you can also fix it for PDF24.

But for Adobe PDF, please uncheck "Do not send Fonts to "Adobe PDF"" or "Rely on system fonts only: do not use document fonts"
