Revision Assistant, too is an add-on for Google Docs that assists in labelling editing errors in your documents, exporting the occurrence of those errors, and exporting a document's comments in an organized way.

How is your data used?

The developer does not, and cannot, collect or gain access to any user information or to anything created by the add-on's users. Anything you create while using this add-on is yours and cannot be accessed or viewed by the developer in any way.

What data does Revision Assistant, too request and why does it need that data?

When you install and use Revision Assistant, too on a Google Doc, it requires access to the following user information:

  1. Document Scope: The document access scope gives the add-on permission to add color to letters/words that are highlighted and insert parentheses around those letters/words in Google Docs. It also allows the add-on to insert punctuation marks and other revision suggestions at the location of the cursor in Google Docs.

  2. Script App Scope: The script app scope allows the add-on to install the add-on menu to a user's account.

  3. Script Container Scope: The script container scope allows the add-on to be added to a user's list of installed add-ons and allows the creation of a sidebar where the add-on is presented.

  4. Google Drive Scope: The Google Drive scope gives the add-on permission to access the comments on the document and export them into a table at the end of the document in timestamp order.
