Welcome to Revenü. Revenü is a financial management mobile application designed exclusively for freelancers. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Android application.
Revenü is a general-purpose freelance tracking productivity tool and is NOT a licensed financial advisor, CPA, or official wealth management coach. The information provided by Revenü is for informational purposes only.
We collect the following types of information:
• Full name and display name
• Email address (used for authentication only)
• Freelance skill and profession type
• Stated hourly rate
• Monthly fixed expenses
• Current cash savings and reserves
• Income entries including client names, amounts, and payment status
• Business expense entries including categories and amounts
• Receipt photos uploaded for expense tracking
• Client information including names, emails, and project details
• Time log entries including hours worked and task types
• Preferred currency selection
• Device information including Android version and device model
• App crash reports and error logs via Firebase Crashlytics
• App performance data via Firebase Performance Monitoring
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications
• Authentication tokens via Firebase Authentication
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide and operate the Revenü app and all its features
• Calculate your Financial Runway based on savings and expenses
• Calculate your True Hourly Rate based on income and time logs
• Generate Client Profitability Scores using AI analysis
• Predict dry months and slow income periods using historical data
• Generate Tax Personality assessments and quarterly tax estimates
• Generate AI-powered Rate Raiser recommendations and email templates
• Send smart push notifications about runway, late payments, and rate increases
• Sync your data securely across devices via Firebase Firestore
• Store receipt photos securely via Firebase Storage
• Monitor app crashes and performance issues to improve the app
• Process your subscription via Google Play Billing
Revenü uses Google Gemini API to power its AI Brain features including Dry Month Prediction, Rate Raiser suggestions, Tax Personality assessment, and Client Profitability scoring. When you use these features, relevant financial data is sent to Google Gemini API for processing. This data is used solely to generate insights for you and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The app includes smart fallback mechanisms so that AI features can operate locally on your device when the Gemini API is unavailable, ensuring your data never leaves your device unnecessarily.
Your data is stored in two locations:
• Locally on your device using Room Database for offline access and fast performance
• In the cloud using Google Firebase Firestore for secure backup and multi-device sync. Firebase servers are located in the United States (us-central1 region).
All financial metrics, cash balances, historical invoice amounts, and transaction metadata are stored using encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Access to your data is protected by Firestore Security Rules that ensure only you can access your own data using your authenticated Firebase user ID.
You have full control over your data:
• Data Export: You can export all your financial data to CSV format at any time using the one-tap CSV export feature in the Ledger screen. You own your raw records fully.
• Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all your data including profile, income records, expenses, client data, time logs, and insights are automatically and permanently deleted from Firebase Firestore via our automated cleanup function.
• Data Access: You can view all your stored data directly within the app at any time.
• Correction: You can edit or update any information you have provided through the app.
Revenü uses the following third party services:
• Google Firebase Authentication — for secure user login and account management
• Google Firebase Firestore — for cloud data storage and synchronization
• Google Firebase Storage — for receipt photo storage
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — for push notifications
• Google Firebase Crashlytics — for crash reporting and app stability monitoring
• Google Firebase Performance Monitoring — for app performance tracking
• Google Gemini API — for AI-powered financial insights and recommendations
• Google Play Billing — for subscription payment processing
All Google services are subject to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not sell your data to any third parties.
Revenü requests the following Android permissions:
• CAMERA — to capture receipt photos for expense tracking. Only used when you tap the camera button.
• INTERNET — to sync data with Firebase and access Gemini AI features.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send smart financial alerts about runway, late payments, and rate increases.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — to ensure reliable background data synchronization.
Revenü is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Data stored on Firebase servers is located in the United States. By using Revenü, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States. You may contact us to exercise your GDPR rights at any time.
Revenü offers a 3-day free trial followed by a paid subscription at $12.99 per month. All billing is handled exclusively by Google Play Billing. We do not store or process any payment card information. For billing disputes, refunds, or subscription management, please contact Google Play support or manage your subscription through the Google Play Store app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this policy and by sending a push notification through the app. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
