Information we collect
Reveal does not require an account and does not collect personal information on our servers.
The app may store the following data locally on your device only:
Favorite and bookmarked facts
Reading progress and statistics (streak, facts read)
App preferences (theme, notification settings)
Daily challenge progress
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the system Share sheet to share content you choose.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, Reveal schedules local notifications on your device. Notification permissions are requested by the operating system. You can disable reminders anytime in Settings.
Internet access
Reveal’s core discovery content is bundled with the app and works offline. Opening external links (for example, the Play Store “Rate Us” page or an email client for feedback) uses your device’s apps and may use a network connection.
Children’s privacy
Reveal does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app is suitable for general audiences seeking educational and inspirational content.
Third-party services
Reveal does not integrate advertising SDKs or analytics trackers in the current release. Platform services (Google Play, device share sheet, mail client) are governed by their own policies.
Data deletion
Uninstalling Reveal removes locally stored app data from your device (subject to your OS behavior).
Changes
We may update this policy when the app changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
