THE RETURN OF THE ULTRAS – A native of the “Ultraverse” is an ultra called the Observer who’s enhanced intuition and observing abilities increased in power when he travels to the 616 universe (reality rules) by using Finkles’ work when it came to breaches between dimensional barriers and the vibratory matrices problem was solved (Prime/Captain America 1996) and got a hold of some black market Pym particles to make transport of equipment super-easy to set up a lab in the 616 earth during trips. Luckily it saved him while travelling from the end event of the multiverse (Secret Wars #1 2015) that got recreated (Secret Wars #9 2015), which was like moments to him, while his instruments revealed that his 93060 universe sorta survived by mixing with the dominating 616 universe’s reality and wonders if this was a survival mechanism for universes that didn’t get recreated but were compatible enough to fit in with other universes, like 93060 with 616 which probably explains why it was the easiest to open dimensional portals between the two universes compared to others as if there was already a small connection (Ego gem?) (Avengers/Ultraforce 1995 & Ultraforce/Avengers 1995), but all the Observer has are theories. Other unlucky universes probably did the same with other “if compatible” universes and submitted to their reality. Before the incident, he’s been collecting “power codes” from ultras on his earth and now uses his lab in the 616 earth doing experiments with kidnapped “survivors” from his earth because of the compatibility limitations of imprinting a power code into a biological being’s DNA and the “owner” of a power code was the only choice to avoid deadly rejection and there’s the fact that they no longer have their ultra powers and memory of being an ultra because their origins never happened in the 616 universe. The reason he’s doing this to begin with is because ultras are more powerful in this universe’s reality while beings like the Juggernaut for example would of been less powerful in the Observer's home universe (All-New Exiles #1 1995). Their true potential would perhaps be realized here but of course a test must be made and he believes that Exodus’ Brotherhood of Divine Mutants who still believe mutants are humanity’s gods is the opportunity and answer. He sends word of his secret lab to them and it amuses him that he doesn’t even need to lie much to trick the fools here. He also sends word to the Avengers to be used as a control function while he releases his enhanced captives and tells them they have to fight for their lives and quickly learn how to use their new abilities when it comes to fighting while he did discover that the power codes have vague memories of their former lives of the Ultraverse to give them a head-start. He tells the scared Kevin Green (Prime #1 1993) that he expects great things from him and not to screw it up. The one name Ghoul feels dead and starts to hear dead voices when some in the battle get killed and can even reanimate them which drives him a bit insane. People like Captain America and Iron Man would recognize some of the ultras (Avengers/Ultraforce 1995 & Ultraforce/Avengers 1995) while exchange of information gets everyone up to date on what’s really going on. As the Observer watches he mentions that his earth didn’t have mutants, Inhumans, Deviants and Eternals while he’s not sure if they even had Celestials. He wonders how different the two universes really were. After the battle and the Avengers winning, the Observer knows that they will take the ultras back to their homes, if they have any, and this is phase 2 because power and potential can’t go anywhere without circumstances and choices which will lead them while under the illusion of freedom. He will observe them as they either become super-heroes, super-villains, mercenaries, living weapons, soldiers, killers or at least trying to live a normal life which the last one may end up being impossible, but their lives will not be the same as before. The Observer then reveals his identity and it’s the guy from Aladdin (Ultraforce #13 1995) who was called “Doc” and was the one who allowed Ultraforce to take the Maxis nanotech probe robot (All-New Exiles #8 1995) which he showed great interest in because of the power codes while keeping it a secret that he was a ultra. He finally unlocked the secrets of the Maxis nanotech probe robot’s technology to a limited degree because of the imprinting limitations and created Maxis bugs to scan and record ultras’ power codes through unnoticeable physical contact that gave him a vast library of genetic recordings. He plans to release his Maxis bugs to look for more Ultraverse survivors to give back their powers since he still has power codes he hasn’t yet used while he added something to the power codes that allows him to track down his test subjects when needed and perhaps control them.
NOTE: Ultras in the Marvel Universe are what people are called who got their powers through power codes when it comes to identification. It’s possible that the Black Knight would recognize some of them (Ultraforce 1995), as well as some of the X-Men (All-New Exiles vs X-Men 1995 & Phoenix Resurrection 1996) and the Juggernaut with Amber Hunt (All-New Exiles 1995), while maybe Ben Reilly’s girlfriend, Hallow’s Eve, might know a little about them if he ever told her about them (Spider-Man/Ultraforce #1A & #1B 1996) before his memory problems (Amazing Spider-Man #93 2018) and then there’s Prime and the Prof Hulk (Prime vs The Incredible Hulk 1995). Taskmaster’s handler, also his wife (Taskmaster #1 2010), would perhaps have records about Siren (Siren #1 1995) and would maybe notice that her pinky finger is no longer missing.
BROTHERHOOD OF DIVINE MUTANTS - Because of the coming of the ultras to add to the number of non-mutant superhumans, this would perhaps lead to the Brotherhood of Divine Mutants going after any non-mutant super-being with a belief that only mutants should have powers, to be genetically superior, and it reminds Exodus of him and his Acolyte followers once going after the High Evolutionary for his “artificial mutants” and even tried to take away the Inhumans’ terrigen mist when the opportunity came (Quicksilver 1997) and now believes that he didn’t go far enough and even uses the Children of the Vault (X-Men #188 1991), especially when they were the Children of Tomorrow (Children of the Vault #1 2023), as part of the reason for going after superhumans. MUTANTKIND IS GOD AND SUPERHUMANITY IS BLASPHEMY is now their firm religious belief of a natural order. They even declared an act of war from the Inhumans because of the Terrigen incident that created the “Nuhumans” who were humans with an Inhuman ancestor like Moon Girl and Ms Marvel and almost wiped out mutantkind (Inhumans vs X-Men 2016). That the humans are mutantkind’s property according to them and the brotherhood may perhaps start an ethnic cleansing based on DNA screenings. They start their campaign of ridding superhumanity by going after the most familiar ones like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, super-powered members of the Avengers who are not mutants and other teams, Squirrel Girl and Cloak and Dagger for the “crime” of being mistaken for a mutant and Captain America who his mutant attackers think will be easy because of what he really is is a “perfected human” which means that despite being physically and mentally superior to a normal human, he’s still a baseline human, and one who gets greatly underestimated when he shows his mutant attackers what a perfected human can really do. There’s also the Hulk who most mutants fear while they decide to go after his cousin She-Hulk. A group of brotherhood mutants face Graviton and Exodus kills the mutant survivors for saying that he was like a omega-level mutant thus showing his mental state. They attack places like Genetech, Gamma Corps, Roxxon, Alchemax and any other faculties that is known or suspected of doing genetic research that has the potential of creating superhumans. In fact, the brotherhood would probably believe that being born a mutant means that you have been chosen and may see the 3k mutants as being no different then Mister Sinister who implanted an x-gene into his own DNA and this also includes the X-Subjects, the generated, from the Generation X-23 series. That fate, god’s blessing, must decide who’s a mutant and not a lab with their genetic engineering based on their religion. They also try to wipe out the Deviants because of a possible theory that the x-gene somehow came from their DNA (A.X.E.: Judgment Day 2022) which is a threat to their religion. They also try to “outlaw” humans from learning magic and go after people like Doctor Strange who’s like a baseline human who learned the mystic arts which is like having powers.
Exodus: “The problem with superhumans is that they’re humans who genetically don’t know their place.”
VALERIA RICHARDS IS A SUPERHUMAN - Future Foundation ends up helping the ultra captives and gave some unstable molecule clothing to those like Prime who always lost his clothes after turning into his superhuman form while the covered in goo was another problem while ultras like Hardwire (Hardcase #5 1993) and Headknocker (Hardcase #1 1993) were causing trouble probably because they were wanted fugitives when they were normal humans and the Thing had to beat down Bonehammer (Ultraforce #1 1995) who went crazy while having a talk with Sludge (Sludge #1 1993) because the Thing knew what he’s going through through personal experience (Fantastic Four #1 1963). They medically examine them in case of possible health issues from the imprinting and counselling for those who no longer look human. They believe that this Observer may perhaps come from the once earth-93060, Ultraverse to the readers, and was looking for earth-93060 survivors that became part of earth-616’s reality for compatibility for what is called power codes which Reed finds fascinating and mentions that they’re limited to genetic abilities. Elsewhere, mutants kidnap Valeria through mutant teleportation because it’s public knowledge that she’s the co-creator of the Forever Gate that Exodus wants because he believes that mutantkind is destined to rule over all of reality based on delusions. When they take her back to the church, Exodus uses his telepathy to extract valuable knowledge but instead gets data overload which causes him great pain. Scanning shows the “genetic marker” that she and her brother both have because of their parents’ altered DNA that does nothing and the reason why Valeria is biologically a normal human is because her super-power is external. She’s psionically linked to a pocket astral plane that’s outside of time and space that gives her extra processing power and memory space while having an optimizer to prevent data overload on herself. The scanning also shows that her external super-power has no x-gene involved and the reason she lives because of the said knowledge where they need to find a way to access safely. It’s also mention that perhaps the reason her father didn’t discover this is because the Fantastic Four doesn’t have a telepath to point the way and her super-intelligence makes her a potential threat to mutant supremacy that needs to be executed once they get what they want. This also inspires them to go after other non-mutant super-intellects like Modok and the Leader, who’s believed to have created a fail-safe after the Red Hulk made him lose his powers a second time and in case he lost his powers again like in Immortal Hulk. It wasn’t hard for the FF and SHIELD to find the church because Exodus didn’t bother to hide it, he wanted people to have no choice but to notice it’s existence. A fight starts and the Thing faces a mutant brute who thinks he stronger because of his x-gene and the fight last for a minute with the Thing being the winner. This was a rescue mission and not a means to defeat the church because right now they don’t have the means to do it. After the rescue and Reed being informed about the pocket astral plane, he has a theory that this must of been Doctor Doom’s doing when he was saving Valeria when she was being born and didn’t stop with just making her a magical familiar. Perhaps he knew she was going to be a normal child and thought that was unfit for someone he would deliver into the world so he used a combination of magic and science to create the pocket astral plane to give her beyond human level intelligence all for the legacy of Doom. Reed knows what happens if she’s not connected with the pocket astral plane in Fantastic Four: Road Trip (2020) where she and Franklin were also affected by Mad Thinker’s trap because of the genetic markers that allowed Franklin’s x-gene, that they thought he had because Franklin made everyone including himself think that he wasn’t a mutant, to be affected while her psionic link was being interfered. She needed the pocket astral plane to mentally function because it prevented her to develop naturally.
NOTE: The Future Foundation have interviewed ultras to see what they remember about their former lives, despite not being complete memories, but it’s better then solely relying on what the Observer left behind perhaps on purpose.
SARAH WALKS UNSEEN AND DANIELLE MOONSTAR ARE COUSINS – Sara Walks Unseen aka Lament based on her former life (Ultraforce #1 1995) who according to the Observer’s files that Future Foundation procured had was changed by the “lament” of a hi-tech security system, and there’s a theory that advanced computer programming was somehow bonded into her DNA thus making her a “genetic cyborg”, and it gave her a psychokinetic ability to become undetectable, as if she was invisible but not really, which Reed says is fascinating and also says that perhaps not even Wolverine’s nose would of been able to detect her because what she really did was make people and technology think she was not there as long as her stamina held, and it might be possible that not even Spider-Man’s spider sense would of detect her, and if she focused she could of also perhaps control people’s biological functions which he recommends training to avoid killing someone....if..... they can find Sarah before the Observer gets to her and they find out that Danielle Moonstar is her cousin since the recreation of the multiverse (Secret Wars #9 2015) and the left over Ultraverse elements had perhaps mixed together some compatible family trees. Sara’s dad is Dani’s mother’s brother who’s whereabouts are unknown and is considered a creep which is why the two girls never saw much of each other while growing up, especially since Sarah is a First Nation People woman, which I believe is Canadian, which would give her dual citizenship because of her father. They contact Dani’s parents and they contact her where she gets Wolverine to help while using the fact that she’s a bounty hunter as a starting point of the search. It’s mentioned that Sarah is x-gene negative since Dani in a rare visit got her to use one of those hand held tests that they had when they had Krakoa since they were blood related while she finds it interesting that Sarah used to be an ultra from another reality while it felt like she was always her cousin. Wolverine, who feels weird riding on Dani’s winged horse, says that it won’t be easy to find her if she has her ultra power back and uses it a lot according to the information that Future Foundation provided them. Luckily, they find her at a bar which she got her latest bounty and was having a drink. At first Sara thinks her mother got Dani to come looking for her since she never liked the fact that her daughter was a bounty hunter. The two have an argument which reveals that Sara got this stinging feeling (Maxis bug) and later got powers until some brotherhood mutants who’s duty is to track down non-mutant superhumans arrive and think it’s faith that Dani would be here and demand that she show her loyalty to mutantkind by exterminating her superhuman cousin who they know about through their mutant researchers. The three give a mild awkward look while Wolverine wonders if the brotherhood mutants escaped from a loony bin for making such a request. A fight starts and the brotherhood mutants thought their technology they brought would counter Sarah’s stealth ability, and even monologue about it, but fails as she clobbers some and mocks them for not living up to their bragging. She then uses her power to control a brotherhood mutant’s biological functions to torment him and tells him that he stopped being a victim to human bigotry when he became a hypocrite who did the same to humans while not caring if whether they were innocent or not. Dani of course stops her and she complies but tells them they better send them to someone who will restrain them and not put Xs on them simply because they’re mutants while Maria Hills appears in civilian clothes and sunglasses and says she can take care of that. Dani refuses but Wolverine tells Dani she can trust Hills because of the Fantastic Four she’s working with. The brotherhood mutants will be locked up for what they did instead of what they are. SHIELD takes the brotherhood mutants while Hills says that the real reason she’s here is to offer Sarah a job with benefits and she accepts and leaves Dani annoyed and upset.
THE M-MOVEMENT – Led by Mole which is similar to the movement in Krakoa for the ignored mutants (Sabretooth 2022) where they will not be pressured to joining a cause which is usually about them serving and getting nothing in return except for the so called leaders and the fact that mutants are not a cult and just because Exodus’ brotherhood claims that mutantkind will do something doesn’t mean it’s true. Not every mutant is insane or a minion. A mutant hate group decides to take advantage of this and hires Jason Macendale Jr. (Machine Man #19 1978), or his clone, who is still alive because he knew trying to break through a reinforced door of the New U labs with his time running out was foolish and desperately went out to find some pills until he was luckily exposed to the sound cure and decided to fake his death by leaving his Hobgoblin stuff behind with the dusty remains of “Green Goblin” and “Jack O’Lantern” (The Clone Conspiracy #5 2016) and lay low for a while. He has returned to his Jack O’Lantern gig while still faking his death by using the fact that a lot of people uses the costumed identity these days and adopted a similar look that Owen Ward (Venom #1 2018) had, including the flying broomstick which was somewhat similar to the bat glider that he had as Hobgoblin, while calling Owen an idiot for using real flames when realistic hologram ones worked better when it came to not accidentally blowing your head off in a fight. The job was to create chaos to make humans fear mutants to the point that a race war will happen that Jason doesn’t care about as long as he gets paid. It's revealed that the Calypso serum is still part of Jason’s DNA and the genetic anomaly left by the demon still makes the formula more potent (Spider-Man #48 & #49 1990) thus making him more powerful then Kraven the Hunter. Dying once (Spider-Man: Hobgoblin Lives #1 1997) and almost dying a second time (The Clone Conspiracy #5 2016) is the reason why he wants people to think he’s dead for now while he suspects Demogoblin, now Demagoblin, knows he’s alive because of their mental link (Spider-Man #48 1990) while so far “she” hasn’t shown up and he realized that he needs to think before he acts like how he once became a demon (Spectacular Spider-Man #147 1976) or a cyborg (Spider-Man #68 1990) because of his greed for power and needs to focus on his training and profiting like a professional.
KAMRAN TRIES TO START A INHUMAN REVOLUTION – Kamran (Ms Marvel #13 2014) takes advantage of the chaos that Exodus has created and uses fear to gather the “nuhumans” where some are there out of loyalty while the others are desperate for safety. He tells them that the Inhumans are the true next step of evolution because their powers came from the stars while it’s believed, based on rumors, that mutants got theirs from freaks of nature called the Deviants, who like the Eternals are now known to the public. Their Inhuman ancestors built a great society while the mutants had an island that they couldn’t hold onto and went back as outcasts living in the dumpster. The Inhumans now control the Kree empire while the mutants have nothing. By right it is they who should rule and decide who should have powers and even uses the names Kei Kawade (Monsters Unleashed 2017) and Ulysses Cain (Civil Wars II 2016) as examples of Inhuman supremacy. Ms Marvel and her fellow Champions arrive, both original and new (New Champions #3 2025) since the X-Men and Avengers are busy, and Kamran asks Ms. Marvel if she’s a mutant or an Inhuman, loyal or a traitor, because she can’t be both with the rules that Exodus laid onto the world and a fancy speech isn’t going to change that. Things get chaotic when brotherhood mutants attack the crowd of “nuhumans” while Kamran goes crazy happy because he selfishly thinks this is the beginning of his own legacy and glory. Iso, Inferno, Grid, arrived to save the day and the reason they were there was to stop Kamran from putting Inhumans in danger for his own selfish goals. After the fight, Iso explains that the reason she’s back on earth was because she was against what the Inhuman royals did to take control of the kree empire. They said that the kree/skrull alliance was doomed to fail as if that excused the fact that they made sure it did fail. She also says that this of course has to remain secret because of the politics of preventing an intergalactic war which sickens her, but she knows the price of innocent blood to be paid by revealing the truth. She also likes to find out how Kamran knew about the kree empire.
X-23 AND HELLION HAVE AN ARGUMENT – Hellion is thinking of joining the Brotherhood of Divine Mutants and thinks Laura should as well. That to him it’s the best way for a bright future for mutants and even uses the fact that it was humans who tried to turn her into a weapon because it’s “human nature” and believes that a mutant would never do that while Laura’s little sister Gabby puts him in a corner by reminding him of Apocalypse and his horsemen and the fact that Warren and Logan never really asked to be one and they’re not even close to being the first to being turned into a horseman that’s been around a very long time and then there’s Shaw and his Sentinel business as well as the Hellfire Club who despite being controlled by mutants saw mutants, especially kids to be indoctrinated, as a means to an end for their own wealth and power because of their greed. And then there’s Sabretooth and no one had to make him a psychotic killer. It ends with Laura telling Hellion that his problem is that he wants to live in a fantasy where all humans are bad and all mutants are good for simplicity and heard that he once had Spider-Man as a professor (Spider-Man and the X-Men 2015) who taught that with great power must come great responsibility and what the brotherhood does has nothing to do with responsibility but elite privilege.
YOUNG AVENGERS REUNION – Because of the emergency caused by the mutant brotherhood, Patriot, Hawkeye, Hulkling, Wiccan, Speed and Stinger are acting as a emergency rescue team. Before the action, Patriot and “Lady” Hawkeye have a chat and Patriot tells her that he’s been trying to live a normal life and that he and his grandpa received some vita-rays treatment from equipment that was confiscated from Nextin Pharmaceuticals (Steve Rogers: Super-Soldier #1 2010) to make sure his gramps didn’t get worse and for him to avoid going through what he went through when it came to the serum. That it was made available to anyone who had a variant of the super soldier serum who would perhaps need the treatment. “Lady” Hawkeye asks why he didn’t have his serum deactivated since he wanted a normal life and he tells her that it was because of fear that someone may need help and he be the only one who was there to do it and it may be a situation where he would need the power that the serum gives. They soon get a call that brotherhood mutants are attacking a place and Wiccan and Speed soon become the main focus of the enemy because they are seen as the false grandchildren of Magneto and also not mutants that they see as an insult to mutantkind.
X-FORCE BECOMES A RESCUE SQUAD – Cable, Wolverine, Kwannon, Shatterstar, Domino and Deadpool are on a mission to rescue the non-mutant superhumans captured by the brotherhood and sneak into their domain. This is personal for Wolverine when he found out that his adopted daughter Amiko Kobayashi (Uncanny X-Men #181 1963) who’s been learning the mystical ways of the Miko priestesses because of her lineage to the Shosei Order (Wolverine: Soultaker #3 2005) has been captured by the brotherhood because she’s a human with powers. Part of their mission is to get rid of the brotherhood’s mutant researchers who’s been providing Exodus with too much information that has been putting people’s lives in danger and then it also becomes personal with Cable when it’s revealed that they also captured Synapse (Uncanny Avengers #1 2015) who Cable trained to better use her Inhuman powers. Amiko and Synapse are restrained and have been mistreated by the brotherhood who demand that Wolverine and Cable show their loyalty to mutantkind by slaying the two and Cable mentions that Wolverine mentioned this and agrees that this is crazy and Wolverine becomes even more furious when one of the brotherhood mutants told him that this wouldn’t have happened if he took better care of his “human pet”. The brotherhood mutants also mention that they must also slay Deadpool for acting like he’s a mutant and Deadpool has a nagging feeling that Kwannon, Shatterstar and Domino are thinking it over and wondering if they’re still “besties”. A big fight happens, they manage to take down the mutant researchers and free the non-mutant superhuman prisoners and mind controlled human worshippers of mutants and decide to blow up the brotherhood’s church out of existence as a message to Exodus.
EXODUS LOSES BECAUSE OF HARSH REALITY – A great battle happens between the Brotherhood of Divine Mutants with the X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Champions and even some of the ultras while Prime appears later after being told to stay behind because he’s a kid but proves that he’s strong enough to rattle Exodus’s psionic field when he goes all out like a kid fighting for his life, perhaps even shoot powerful green energy from his hands as he shouts PRIME POWER! After the great battle, Exodus’ mutant technicians finally finish building a psionic crown for Exodus to wear that will allows him to contact all mutant minds with ease so he can lead his “flock” to wipe out all who are not mutants but suddenly becomes shocked and disillusion that the vast majority of mutants refuse to follow him nor want anything to do with him because the fall of Krakoa was an eye opener for most and won’t blindly follow a “mutant leader” who promises a promise land.
NIGHT MAN – After the defeat of Exodus’ mad crusade, SHIELD agents went out to meet some people from the reject list of the Observer’s for more data since the power codes could only record genetic abilities and the rejects didn’t have a power code to begin with. People like Johnny Domino, real or original last name is Domingo with a “g”, who’s “powers” came from a shrapnel embedded into his brain (Strangers #1 1993) which is why his new self Johnny Domingo, with a “g”, of San Francisco was rejected from the program that he knew little about but the money was good. The agent he met had a loose tongue when he told him about his “counterpart’s” origins as Night Man based on the files and later got in trouble for it, and this was twice he did it, but at least he forgotten to mention the shrapnel part because this Johnny Domingo was different in a way where he was a loser who was a bit overweight and out of shape who would of loved being a super-hero and perhaps would have done something desperate to make it happen, which in a way he does, because it turns out he’s the indirect descendant of Doctor Klutch (Tough Kid Squad Comics #1 1942) where he once read his grand-uncle’s journal that mentions him being the partner of Doctor Danger who developed a serum that would cause high degrees of development along any line of training and that he didn’t trust Doctor Klutch while later he injected the serum into his newly born twin sons, which even Johnny thought was kinda messed up, while there’s mentioning of having Doctor Danger killed, examinations on the boys, using Komba as a guinea pig and injecting one of the boys own blood into himself, but that wasn’t the last part, before attempting to start his own criminal organization he drew out some of his blood and stored it in what is called a stasis box to preserve it which was one of the unknown scientific wonders of the 1940’s and sent it to his sister as insurance. As a kid he remembers seeing a weird looking box that looked kinda steampunk in storage at the family house and wonders if the blood sample is in it. He finds it and manages to open it and there was the syringe with his grand-uncle’s undiluted blood in it, and thus the dimwitted desperate part comes where he injected the blood into himself and at first he feels weird then good. With training, Johnny became really good at fighting, acrobatics, sneaking around, electronics, gizmos/gadgets and other self-taught stuff because Doctor Danger’s serum made him like a prodigy and gained an athletic body through the training. It even made him go from being a weak-willed coward to someone who’s brave and strong-willed after being exposed to the dangers of being Night Man as if it was training which means that he struggled at first when it came to fear. As for the costume, it’s similar to what had in his former life but the blue parts were black and the gray parts were blue with similar makeshift gizmos like the taser gloves which are good at punching people with super-powers. With the appearances of Night Man it wasn’t hard to find out who he was since SHIELD was indirectly responsible while a background check revealed his family tree and how someone who was a high school loser became this and that Doctor Klutch got the electric chair before the government found out what was in his blood and it was too late to collect samples while the Danger boys went missing but there were rumors that they went out as a due called the Liberty Twins (Cover of Tough Kid Squad Comics #1 1942). Rhiannon (Night Man #4 1993), Johnny’s unknown mother, is very longed lived through mystical cannibalism and kept an eye on her son who she at first thought was pathetic until circumstances made him the Night Man again. She knew the “Ultraverse” was going to end (Secret Wars #1 2015) and did a ritual that stored a piece of her essences that would be safe because it would be outside time and space and then returned to her if she was ever recreated (Secret Wars #9 2015) thus giving back the memories of her former self where she felt like she was almost reliving her life in the 616 earth since she started in the distant past and used it to her advantage. Rhiannon decided not to repeat the ritual that gave her son magical powers (Night Man: Infinity 1995) because of the disaster it ended up being (Night Man/Gambit 1996), since it was like a curse that gave power, and thinks this “potion” he got from a relative’s blood from his father’s side of the family that made him a prodigy will do nicely when it comes to using and manipulating him when it comes to supernatural enemies that she ticked off, like Lord Pumpkin who would remember Night Man from the “Ultraverse” (Night Man #3 & #4 1995), and in a package will secretly give him a magical dagger, which is similar to the one he once had in his former life, and a saxophone, because she understood that her son’s state of mind as Night Man was like night time jazz which this might rekindle since it was a source of inspiration, as well as a magical spell of her own design to remove the need for sleep and give the ability to hear evil thoughts which is also in the package.
NOTE: Gambit (Night Man/Gambit 1996) and Wolverine (Night Man vs Wolverine 1996) would probably recognize Night Man or at least the name while Night Man would probably have a deja vu feeling from them. It’s later revealed that Night Man not needing to sleep and hearing evil thoughts is because his mind is mystically half-asleep which is different compared to the brain damage from a shrapnel that may have come from the cable car in Night Man’s former life.
SOLITAIRE – The same SHIELD agent that met with Johnny Domingo also met with the doubleganger of Nicholas Lone of Los Angeles who was with his mother and it was uncomforting for the agent because Nicholas was seriously ill, and to show how tactless he is, he tells him about his “doubleganger” who went by the name Solitaire who had amazing healing abilities (Solitaire #4 1993) which inspired Nicholas’ mother on how to save her son since the same program that Johnny Domingo was invited to did nothing but reject him for some reason and they didn’t need the money. Unknown to them, Nicholas’s father Anton Lone was listening in. Nicholas’ mother used Anton Lone’s contacts to set a meeting with an ex-A.I.M. scientist who offers her son an experimental nanotechnology called Elixir-N that gives a person potent healing and vitality but warns her that the chances of this working are not exactly great but they have nothing to lose. He injects the Elixir-N into Nicholas and he seemly dies. After that, his father Anton Lone and some of his men with guns show up and says like someone who doesn’t care that it was a pity that it didn’t work because he could have used someone who’s hard to kill and at least his son would finally have some worth for once. The mother is disgusted that Anton never cared about Nicholas and he tells her he has other kids from other women who so far haven’t disappointed him. Anton gets out his gun and tells his wife to consider this as a divorce and kills her, then he orders his men to kill the scientist for making a deal behind his back and to dump the bodies in a river which they do, and after the deed is done and the men are gone, Nicholas rises from the waters and once he gets out, he notices that he doesn’t feel sick anymore. He later finds out what happen while he was dead and knows his father was behind it while remembering what the SHIELD agent said about his “counterpart” Solitaire which inspires him on how to get revenge as a man believed to be dead while one of his father’s victims convinces him to first become a saboteur to take way the money and power before killing his father so his half-siblings would inherit nothing and he knows that some of them are just as bad.
NOTE: When A.I.M. finds out that Elixir-N worked on someone and didn’t kill him, they realize that their test subjects were healthy and that the nanotechnology had the need to repair and rebuild a host and would kill that host if there was nothing that needed fixing. This reveals that Elixir-N is Solitaire’s life support and potential weakness.
ULTRAFORCE - Using the Observer's files, Maria Hill learns about Prototype and the Ultraverse survivor Jimmy Ruiz who was already imprinted with a power code. According to the report, the scientists of Future Foundation learned that Jimmy was an ultra that was a human battery that did nothing alone but is believed to provided energy to make technology function and this inspires Hill where SHIELD can have their own Iron Man which was very difficult because Tony had his patented repulser tech that powered his “slim” armors while their mandroids were crude and bulky in comparison. Hill convinces Jimmy, who thought he had a useless power that was only good for recharging his phone and was lucky to survive that attack from those “church mutants”, to become part of a project where the SHIELD scientists designed a prototype of a new mandroid armor built for Jimmy which has built in receivers + storage that would use his ultra power as a power source and it worked. It was slim and more efficient compared to the other mandroid models. Despite needing some training, the vague memories from the power code helped. Excited by this Hill decided to look into other things like Ultraforce where perhaps she could convince some of the new ultras to become part of while Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, is there for the presentation and asks Hill to speak freely and after giving permission she asked Hill if she thought this Observer was the incompetent type to be sloppy enough to leave behind important files for SHIELD to find while Hill thinks maybe he was overconfident. After thinking about what Daisy said, Hill gets worried and wonders if maybe SHIELD is unintentionally working for the Observer. She meets with Daisy in private and ask her if she ever heard about the event between the two earths that almost started a war (Spider-Man/Ultraforce #1A & #1B 1996) while ended with perhaps both sides planning a retaliatory attack which hasn’t happened because the other side somehow disappeared (Secret Wars #1 2015) but may actually be here. She also mentions that they learned from founded samples that the shifters were based on nanotechnology which indicates they were created in a lab which were like better versions of their LMDs, and they did find methods to detect them, but it’s almost obvious that the Observer wanted them to have the information to make it tempting to using the ultras who are still wet behind the ears as a defence as if the enemy is helping to create the defence which they would know the weaknesses because of it. So Hill has a plan to go ahead with the Ultraforce team and wants Quake to lead it while she already has Lament and Prototype in it, while perhaps try to get Prime to join to protect the kid from people with less noble intentions, and then there’s Hardcase (Hardcase #1 1993) who’s a soldier who was thought to have gone awol but was kidnapped and Hellblade (Prime #26 1995) who’s a convict who was thought to have escaped but same reasons, while she also finds the guy who was Liberty (Prime/Captain America 1996) who now goes by the name Major Liberty after the old Major Liberty (U.S.A. Comics #1 1941) after getting recruited since there’s already another Liberty (Spider-Woman #7 2024), to go halfway with what the Observer wants while playing ignorant until something hopefully comes up to give them the advantage while someone else would have no doubt done the same thing without a clue, so it’s good that it was Hill who did it first. Hill also mentions that the idiot agent who met with Johnny Domingo and Nicholas Lone who is now believed to be dead is missing and she doesn’t know whether or not it’s more incompetents. Elsewhere, the mentioned agent is talking into his phone and tells the Observer he “jumped ship” now that he has finished what he was assigned to do and the Observer from the phone thanks him for his help with his simple psychological experiment with the rejects and that he’ll make a fine agent of Aladdin.
NOTE: Captain America would know about Liberty (Prime/Captain America 1996).
THE STRANGERS - A struggling fashion designer named Elena La Brava (Strangers #1 1993) is a mercenary working with a crime cartel to take down the X-Man Gambit for messing with their business deals. She started out as a normal human until a Maxis bug got to her and gave her a power code. She discovered that she had a superhuman sense of precision and accuracy that made her a master marksman, excellent tracker and expert acrobat who could use inoffensive items as a weapon. Her vague memories from the power code of her former self Elena La Brava sickens her because she was self-made and had everything but wanted to play superhero to feel special while thinking she now lives up to the name Lady Killer. Later some ex-Strangers, because of the vague memories from the power codes, come looking for her and think it’s destiny that they be together while she tells them that destiny are for idiots who desperately want to be special and don’t want to take responsibility for anything. Because of their partial memories, they don’t think about Candy aka ElectoCute who’s AI was stolen from her android body by the Observer before the ending event (Secret Wars #1 2015) because he wanted to study it to see what the jump-start effect did to it (Strangers #1 1993). He found out that the android became sentient because she became a host to a newborn being of electrical energy that was somehow created while everyone else in the cable car became ultras which also explains how something that was built to be a “sex-bot” would get an upgrade without modifying the mechanical design. In a experiment, the Observer puts the altered AI into a cloned and genetically modified for electrical tolerance human body that looks like Candy’s android body and the ex-android wakes up feeling different while revealing that she still has her electrical powers that proved the theory to be true. Candy, when she was an android, once wished she could fear pain and death and admits she didn’t know what she was asking as it was a means for the Observer to controlling her until he decided to have her join her long lost friends because he wanted to see how she would react to the outside world now that she’s human and like the ultras has a way to track her and perhaps control her. Unlike the other Strangers, Candy has all of her memories. They end up being the Strangers again when something takes down the crime cartel that Lady Killer worked for and that they’re going to have to be “strangers” to hide from what took her bosses down. Maybe Death's Head 1. Yes?
NOTE: It can be argued on whether or not Candy would be considered an ultra in the 616 earth since she didn’t get her powers from a power code.
NEW ALIENS - Aliens from the Ultraverse start revealing themselves in the 616 universe and Reed Richards thinks they may have come from the restored nine-tenths of the universe (Fantastic Four #45 2018) based on the direction they came from and is excited by this with him being an explorer. The Observer, after hearing about this, hopes that one of these discovered aliens out there are the Ozamans (All New Exiles #8 1995) who created the Maxis and hopes they have the solution of overcoming the compatibility limitation of the power codes. There’s also the discovery of the Fire People (Ultraforce #0 1994) who are another subterranean society of earth who are riled up from their deep slumber by Contrary (Freex #9 1993) who vaguely remembers them because of her power code when it comes to their technology and was driven by greed that the Fantastic Four have to deal with. Contrary can emit telepathic pulses on contact that affects the pleasure/pain center in other people's brains, like Torch’s for example.
NOTE: Perhaps using the Alien Elite (Ultraforce Unlimited #2 1996) as a starting point guide of what aliens the Ultraverse had.
THE SOLUTION - The Observer's experiments revealed that the Maxis technology works best with genetics when it comes to giving power codes to organic hosts while the Maxis probe robot itself could mimic things like wetware implant abilities, like Strike and Shuriken for example, because it was a machine itself but couldn’t give those abilities to organic hosts because they had nothing to do with DNA. This inspired him and he finds Lela Cho (Solution # 1 1993) working for a Hong Kong tech firm and realizes that some people from his world aren’t as successful here and his theory is because they’re practically refugees to the 616 world despite being born here with the recreation (Secret Wars #9 2015), but that can change with his help. He contacts Lela while using a civilian identity and helps her found Hypersonic which seems familiar to her in a deja vu way and one of it’s technological products is a new type of wetware implant that gives enhanced abilities by manipulating DNA that Observer can secretly control if he chooses through the implants. The Observer’s records told him of the people who used to be Dropkick (Solution #1 1993), Casino (Solution #7 1993), Strike (Mantra #1 1993), Shuriken (Ultraforce #6 1994) Incoming (Solution #1 1993) Black Tiger (Solution #1 1993), Bloodshed (Solution #1 1993) and Wrath (Prototype #3 1993) who originally got their powers from old wetware implants which they don’t vaguely remember having because of them not having power codes to begin with and that includes Lela who used to be Tech, but the new wetware implants that manipulates DNA gives them similar organic versions of the abilities that they had with cybernetics. Lela isn’t quite confidant with this roster of members that her “partner” calls the Solution which he says are there to protect the company's investments like Iron Man and whatever company Tony has lately, but this team seems one part good and one part bad where the bad part will do something horrible and take the rest of the team down with them. That she was careless with her ambition.
NOTE: Hypersonic also has other Ultraverse technological wonders when it came to earth-93060.
MORE ULTRAS - Other ultras start to appear because Future Foundation found out about the Maxis bugs a bit too late to stop it since the Observer made sure they were hard to detect and there was no mention about them in the procured files. People like Grenade (Strangers #1 1993), Spectral (Strangers #1 1993), Zip-Zap (Strangers #1 1993), Atom Bob (Strangers #1 1993), Mustang (Exiles #1 1993), Catapult (Exiles #1 1993), Tinsel (Exiles #1 1993) and Trax (Exiles #1 1993). Even once members of Freex (Freex #1 1993) and the Academy of the New Elite (Freex #10 1993), as well as Scar's band of pirates (Strangers #9 1993), all thanks to power codes from the Maxis technology.
NOTE: The new ultras would also have vague memories of their former lives through the power codes.
MAGIC FROM THE ULTRAVERSE - Supernatural beings of the Ultraverse are discovered. Rune (Sludge #1 1993) and Lord Pumpkin (Sludge #3 1993) while also magic users like Yrial (Strangers #1 1993). Rune was last seen in Thanos #3 2003 as a skeleton and it could be said that some alien explorers found him and took him in their ship while the scientist of the crew became curious through it’s genetic analysis of Rune’s remains and added blood to see a reaction which semi-restored Rune who killed the scientist for it’s blood and the rest of the crew who went down fighting and the last one called him the devil and he agreed. Rune can sense that he’s once again in the 616 reality but feels that the essences of the “Ultraverse” is now part of it and plans to head to earth because of hunger. Lord Pumpkin’s last appearance was perhaps Prime #15 1995 and I guess it can be said that one of his seeds survived and he was able to resurrect by growing a new body like a plant and later became a crime lord with a reputation that sounds like a horrifying fairy tale who sells a drug called Changer that makes the user demonic-like with powers until it wears off and is addictive. He hates it when people mistaken him for Jack O’Lantern, since a good number of people use the super-villain identity, and ends up killing the guy who made the mistake. Yrial’s people, like in the Ultraverse, lived on a island floating two and one-half miles above the Earth hidden within a cloud, thanks to magic, while Yrial was assigned to find out how advanced the modern world’s science is when it comes to possibly detecting them and becoming a threat, especially from Wakanda. There’s also Mantra (Mantra #1 1993) where some form of energy shocks Eden Blake’s latent magic to come out in the open as well as Lukasz’s soul which this time he’s a passenger instead of the driver and still remembers the “Ultraverse” but doesn’t know what’s going on and acts as a guide and teacher on how to do white and black magic for Eden and tells about her spells’ weakness to iron and that someone can use her true name against her. He also tells her some parts about their former life which she of course doesn’t remember while she wonders if taking over her body made him more respectful to women while having a man in her head makes having a social life very difficult. Lukasz doesn't have the heart to tell Eden that he was bound by her dying promise to raise and protect her forgotten family who no longer exist (Mantra #19 1993). It’s later revealed that the Observer was behind the energy shock in one of his experiments to see if Eden still had that latent magic in the 616 earth. There’s also Aera who was once Shadowmage (Solution #1 1993) who escaped the end (Secret Wars #1 2015) by going back to the Godwheel (Break-Thru #2 1993) and returned to a different earth because earth-93060 became part of earth-616 which left her understandably confused (Secret Wars #9 2015). She’s been there ever since still hiding the Vorlexx and reestablished her Darke Shoppe in London.
NOTE: Rune and Lord Pumpkin would clearly remember the “Ultraverse” and Venom (Eddie Brock) would perhaps remember Rune (Rune vs Venom 1995). There’s also Silver Surfer/Rune 1995, Rune/Silver Surfer 1995 and Godwheel 1995 where Thor would know of Mantra, Rune and other Ultraverse characters.
QUEEN TOPAZ OF GWENDOR – I believe that Gwendor was a place in the Godwheel and it can perhaps be said that Topaz (Giant-Size Mantra #1 1994), who was a member of the original Ultraforce, was mystically sent back when the end event happened (Secret Wars #1 2015) as if that was where she belonged. After the recreation (Secret Wars #9 2015), the mystics were soon able, after some research and experimenting, to send her back because of the fact that she stayed in the “ultraverse” long enough to created the other end of the bridge so to speak. With confidence that she won’t be stranded this time, Gwendor was “sent back”, because she felt honor bound, but realizes that this isn’t the same earth while she does recognize the Avengers while understandably thinks the mystics screwed up until she realizes that elements of the other earth seem to be part of this earth when she finds out that Hardcase and Prime are here, who vaguely remember her because of the “power codes” which she of course knows nothing about and wonders what happened to their origins that originally gave them their powers, while later finds out that Ghoul is in a mental hospital when she made a “rescue attempt” who’s having problems dealing with being the living dead who can talk to and reanimate the dead, and despite him being a man and Topaz being a female supremacist, she actually liked him despite the refusal of really showing it. She decides to stay on earth-616 for a little while to explore what happen to the others that she knew until she feels that there’s no need to stay. She also wonders if maybe Pixx (Giant Size Freex #1) is alive in this reality who she remembered again after returning to Gwendor as if it undid the effects of Black September.
