Getting Started
Launch Retro Pocket Synth.
Tap PLAY on the home screen.
Tap or drag your finger across the keyboard to play musical notes.
Experiment with the Envelope, LFO, Delay, and Filter controls to customize your sound.
Adjust the volume using the + and − buttons.
Explore different sound combinations and create your own unique melodies.
Recording Your Performance
You can record your musical performances directly within the app.
Open PLAY from the home screen.
Tap the red Record button to begin recording.
Play your melody using the synthesizer keyboard.
Tap the Record button again to stop recording.
Enter a name for your recording.
Tap SAVE to save your performance.
To access your recordings, open LIST from the home screen. You can play, manage, delete, or share your saved performances.
Customizing Your Synthesizer
Personalize your experience through the SETTINGS menu.
You can customize themes, sound presets, haptic feedback, and stylus skins to suit your preferences.
Use the Envelope, LFO, Delay, and Filter controls while playing to explore different sounds and effects.
Privacy and Tracking Permission
Retro Pocket Synth respects your privacy.
When you first launch the app, you may be presented with a privacy consent or App Tracking Transparency permission request.
You can choose to:
Allow: Permit tracking to support more relevant advertising.
Ask App Not to Track: Continue using the app without allowing tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there no sound?
If you cannot hear any sound while playing:
Make sure your device's volume is turned up.
Check whether Silent Mode is enabled.
Make sure the app's volume is not muted.
Disconnect any Bluetooth audio devices if the sound is playing through another device.
Close and reopen the app if the issue persists.
How do I record my performance?
Open PLAY and tap the red Record button. Play your melody, then tap the button again to stop recording. Enter a name and tap SAVE.
Your saved performances can be accessed through LIST.
Why can't I save my recording?
Make sure your device has sufficient available storage. If the issue continues, restart the app and try recording again.
How do I share my recordings?
Open LIST, select your saved recording, and use the available sharing option.
If the sharing screen does not appear, make sure your recording has been saved successfully, then close and reopen the app.
How do I change the synthesizer's appearance?
Open SETTINGS to explore the available themes and stylus skins.
What should I do if the app freezes or crashes?
Try the following:
Close and reopen the app.
Restart your device.
Make sure you are using the latest available version of Retro Pocket Synth.
