RetroBoy GBA Emulator

RetroBoy GBA Emulator (“the app”) is an Android emulator that lets you play classic game files from your own device. This policy explains what information is used and why.
The app does not require registration, email, or a user profile. We do not operate a login system.
2. Data stored on your device
The following stays on your phone and is not uploaded to our servers as a user account:
Game files and the folder you choose with the system file picker (Storage Access Framework)
App settings, on-screen control layout, favorites, and save states
A local list of games added from the device
Optional catalog or configuration so the app can show extras
Cover images from public thumbnail providers
Advertising provided by Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads)
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
AdMob may collect and share with Google:
Advertising ID and other device identifiers
Approximate location (for example from IP address)
App activity related to ads (impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completion)
Technical diagnostics related to ads

You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings (Google → Ads / Privacy).
Files (SAF): to read the game folder you select. We do not access your full photo gallery.
Internet: ads, covers, and optional catalog.
Notifications (optional): progress for library scanning. Not used for marketing.
Microphone (optional): only as in-game input for some Nintendo DS titles that used the original DS mic. Not used for ads or recording you. You can deny this and still play.
Game files, saves, and microphone audio are not sold and are not shared with us for advertising. Advertising data is handled by Google AdMob as described above.
R64 Emulator is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed as a children’s app.
8. Retention and deletion
Data on your device is removed when you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. There is no cloud account to delete. Advertising identifiers are managed by Google / Android.
Network traffic to our configuration endpoints and to Google uses HTTPS.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change.
