AI Resume Builder CV Maker Pro ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and how we share it, particularly regarding the third-party Artificial Intelligence services used to power the app.
We only collect data that you voluntarily provide to us while using the app. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use background location tracking.
Data you provide directly via the app interface:
Career Information: Information you type into our templates or chat interface, including job titles, skills, work experience, educational background, and target job descriptions.
Chat Prompts: Any text or queries you submit directly into the AI chat interface for the purpose of receiving career advice or document drafts.

App Preferences: Your language choice, theme preferences, and remaining credit balance, which are stored locally on your device.
The sole purpose of collecting your text inputs is to provide the core functionality of the app. We use your data exclusively to:
Generate, format, and optimize resumes, CVs, and cover letters.
Provide automated career advice and interview preparation.
Manage your in-app subscription and credit balance.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising, we do not sell your personal data to data brokers, and we do not use your data to identify you personally.
To provide intelligent document generation, AI Resume Builder CV Maker Pro securely transmits your text inputs to OpenAI, LLC ("OpenAI").
By using our generation and chat features, you acknowledge and agree to the following data flow:
Who receives the data: OpenAI, LLC.
What data is sent: Only the specific text, prompts, and career details you actively type into the generation forms or chat boxes. No device identifiers, names (unless typed in the resume body), or contact lists are sent.
Purpose of sharing: The data is processed by OpenAI's API strictly to generate the text requested (e.g., a drafted cover letter or resume summary).
Equal Protection Guarantee: We confirm that OpenAI provides equal or greater privacy protection for your data. Under OpenAI’s API data privacy policies, data sent via the API is NOT used to train OpenAI’s foundation models. Your data is processed transiently to return the generated response and is not permanently stored by OpenAI for learning purposes.
Note: Before any data is transmitted to OpenAI for the first time, the app will explicitly ask for your consent via an in-app prompt.
Any documents you save (such as generated resumes or letters) are stored locally on your device using local storage mechanisms. We do not maintain a central database of your career documents on our servers.
Deletion: You can permanently delete any saved document directly within the "My Documents/Gallery" section of the app. Deleting the app from your device will also delete all locally stored documents and preferences.
If you choose to purchase a premium subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), facilitated by RevenueCat. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information. RevenueCat processes anonymous receipt data to grant you access to premium features.
Because your generated documents and preferences are stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data. You may modify or delete your data at any time by utilizing the app's interface or uninstalling the app.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
