Fourier restriction online 2021

Aim

The purpose of this workshop is to showcase the exciting research that junior members of our community are currently involved in. We hope to provide a platform where their work can be discussed and appreciated, facilitating further collaborations. To this end, we will invite graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty as speakers.

Topics

Oscillatory integrals, Fourier restriction, decoupling, and applications.

Procedure

Conference participants can watch pre-recorded talks on Youtube at their convenience. Watching three talks per day during the two-week conference will cover all the posted talks.

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to interact with speakers in real time during four live discussion sessions (details below). To ensure maximum benefit from these sessions, we encourage attendees to finish watching the talks for that session in advance and bring questions for discussion with speakers.

Please register here to join a discussion session (participation is free, but registration is mandatory). You will then receive Zoom access data before the session starts.

Live meetings schedule

In each meeting, several speakers will be available for discussion. For maximal geographic coverage, meetings will take place in the time slots UTC 00:00-02:00 (America+Asia) and UTC 17:00-19:00 (Europe+America). The dates, times, and speakers are listed below.

All times and dates below are in UTC. Calendar export and conversion to your local time is available at researchseminars.org.
