RestLock works offline. The Android app does not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal data. Your phone’s PIN, pattern, password and biometric data never reach RestLock.
WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
This policy covers RestLock: Auto Screen Lock, published by Buriyal Tech, Android package in.amit.restlock, and support requests sent to us.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR PHONE
RestLock stores the selected lock delay, whether automatic protection is enabled, the timer deadline and boot counter, the last lock-request time, error messages, language and theme preferences, and each widget’s selected style. These values remain in the app’s private storage on your device. They are used only to provide the app’s functions.
NO TRACKING OR DATA COLLECTION BY THE APP
The Android app has no Internet permission, advertising, analytics, accounts or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not access your contacts, messages, files, location, camera, microphone, browsing history or other apps’ notification contents. Authentication is handled by Android; RestLock does not receive your password or fingerprint/face data.
PERMISSIONS AND THEIR PURPOSES
• Device Admin: only the force-lock policy is requested. It lets Android lock the phone and require the existing credential for the next unlock. RestLock does not request password changes, data wiping or device-owner enrollment.
• Notifications and foreground service: show the status of automatic protection while the app monitors screen-off and unlock events. You can stop protection inside the app.
• Alarms & reminders: request a timed lock after the screen turns off. Android and device battery restrictions can delay delivery.
• Boot completed: restore previously enabled monitoring after the first unlock following a restart.
RETENTION AND DELETION
Local settings remain until you clear app storage or uninstall RestLock. Android cloud backup is disabled. Before uninstalling, use “Deactivate admin / prepare to uninstall” in RestLock or deactivate it in Android’s Device admin settings. Disabling protection cancels the timer but keeps your preferences. No account or server-side app data exists to delete.
WHEN YOU CONTACT SUPPORT
If you email buriyalhp@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the content you choose to send. We use that information to respond to and resolve your request, and retain it only as long as needed for support or applicable legal obligations. Our email provider processes those messages to deliver email. Do not send your phone PIN, password or biometric information. You may request deletion of support correspondence at the same address.

This page has no analytics scripts or advertising added by Buriyal Tech. Google Sites may process connection information and use cookies to deliver and secure this website under Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google Play and Android may separately process information under their own policies; that information is not collected by the RestLock app.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
RestLock is a general-purpose device utility and is not directed at children. The app does not collect personal information from users of any age.
