Resident Evil 4 was released for the Nintendo GameCube back in 2005, and focused on the other protagonist from RE2, Leon Kennedy. He's recruited by the U.S. Secret Service to locate the president's daughter, Ashley, from a cult in Europe who are infected with some strange parasites known as Las Plagas. He eventually gets tangled up in the cult's plans and meets up with fellow RE2 character Ada Wong. The game is often considered to be the best in the franchise due to its reinvention of the game play into a more horror-action over-the-shoulder shooter.

Rayman 3's slow climb up the charts continued after its poor start, with the combined GBA and GameCube sales pushing it up to No.24, with PS2, Xbox and PC versions due out imminently. Continuing the platform revival is Namco's distinctly average Pac-Man World 2, which is surprisingly working its way up the charts, up 12 places to No.21, with GameCube and Xbox versions also due shortly.

What: Golf simulation. Details: Players burned by last year's dismal effort from EA Sports can rest easy; Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2002 more than makes up for that disappointment. PGA Tour 2002 uses an intuitive "True Swing" (on the PC)/"Total Precision Swing" (on PlayStation 2) system that uses the left analog stick on a PS2 controller or the mouse on a PC to direct direction, downswing, backswing and even how much the ball slices. The game offers the usual array of modes, including Practice, Stroke, Match, Skins, Scenarios and Tournament, but Tiger Challenge should occupy most gamers' time. Here they compete against 17 top-rated golfers; better play unlocks more Tour Cards, which, in turn, earn you more money, improve your player, and grant access to other golfers and courses. You can even play as Tiger himself. The game features seven courses, including Pebble Beach, Sawgrass, Royal Birkdale and Princeville. The PC version adds Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill. All these courses are beautifully and realistically depicted. But the game doesn't sound as sharp as it looks, thanks to repetitive commentators who mouth the same inane sayings over and over again.
