About FDP

The FDP on Effective Scientific Writing and LaTeX for Research Publications is designed to enhance the academic writing and publishing skills of faculty members, research scholars, and professionals across disciplines.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of research, the ability to communicate ideas clearly and present findings in a structured and professional manner is critical for acceptance in reputed journals and conferences. This FDP will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of scientific writing, including organization of content, clarity of expression, citation practices, and ethical considerations. Alongside writing skills, the programme emphasizes on the use of LaTeX tool for preparing technical and scientific documents with precision. Participants will learn how to create well-formatted research papers, theses, reports, and presentations using LaTeX, thereby improving the quality and readability of their academic outputs. The programme will also cover essential aspects such as effective use of referencing tools, journal finder tools, and understanding of plagiarism.
