This policy explains what information the RepWings app ("RepWings", "the app") uses, where it goes, and the choices you have. RepWings is made by [DEVELOPER NAME] ("we", "us").
In short: your camera video never leaves your phone and is never recorded or saved. We have no accounts, no ads and no analytics of our own. Your progress is stored only on your phone. The pose detection library the app uses, made by Google, sends Google anonymous technical usage statistics that never include images.
RepWings uses your phone's front camera while you calibrate and while you play with push-ups. The app looks at each camera frame to find the position of your shoulders, and uses that to steer the game.
- Camera frames are processed on your phone, in real time, by Google's MediaPipe pose detection library.
- Video and images are never recorded, saved, uploaded or shared, by us or by the library.
- Your body position is used only for the current game and is not stored. Your calibration (how far your shoulders move) is kept in memory for the current session only.
- The app never uses the microphone.
You can play Touch practice without the camera. If you turn off camera permission, push-up mode won't work until you turn it back on in your phone's settings.
To keep your progress, the app saves the following only on your phone. We can't see it, and it isn't sent to us:
- Scores: best score, today's best, and total spires cleared
- Stars earned on each level, and berries collected
- Your weekly streak: the calendar dates you played this week and your streak length
- Which flyers you have unlocked and which one you selected
- Whether you have finished the introduction
Usage statistics sent to Google by MediaPipe. RepWings uses Google's MediaPipe Tasks library for pose detection. That library automatically sends Google technical usage statistics about how the pose detection feature runs. These may include when the feature starts and stops, its settings and running mode, performance and error events, the MediaPipe version, and the app's name and version. They do not include camera images, video or your body position, and they are not linked to your name or an account. We don't receive this data. Google handles it under the Google Privacy Policy
(https://policies.google.com/privacy).
When you choose to share. If you tap "Challenge a friend", the app opens your phone's share menu with a short text about your score. Nothing is sent unless you pick an app and send it. What happens next is up to the app you chose.
App stores. Google Play (and, if available, the Apple App Store) handles downloads and updates, and may give us anonymous crash and performance reports if you allowed that in your phone's settings. This is covered by Google's (https://policies.google.com/privacy) or Apple's (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) privacy policies.
- No accounts, sign-up or login
- No advertising, and no advertising or tracking IDs
- No analytics or tracking of our own
- No location, contacts, photos or microphone
- We never sell or rent personal information
- Camera: to follow your push-ups. Only while calibrating or playing in push-up mode.
- Internet: used by the MediaPipe library to send the usage statistics described above.
The game itself doesn't need a connection.
- Vibration: short vibrations when you collect berries or finish a run.
Progress stays on your phone until you delete it. To delete it all, uninstall the app or clear its storage (Settings > Apps > RepWings > Storage > Clear storage). This can't be undone.
We don't hold any of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Google keeps MediaPipe usage statistics as described in its privacy policy.
RepWings is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU or UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA, or India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information, and to complain to your data protection authority.
Because the app keeps your progress only on your phone and we don't receive personal information from it, you can use most of these rights yourself by clearing the app's storage. For anything else, including questions about information you have emailed us,
contact [apogeeedu7@gmail.com ]. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Camera frames and your progress stay on your phone, protected by your phone's own security. Usage statistics sent by MediaPipe go to Google over an encrypted connection and may be processed in countries other than yours, under Google's safeguards.
If we change how the app handles information, for example by adding a feature that sends data, we will update this policy and the date above before the change reaches you. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
