Title: Electrical networks and Grassmannians
Abstract: The space of planar electrical networks with n boundary vertices admits an embedding into the totally nonnegative Grassmannian Gr_{\geq 0}(n-1,2n) via their response matrices. I will explain why the image actually lies in the smaller Grassmannian Gr_{\geq 0}(n-1,2n-2), and, moreover, why there is a unique symplectic form with respect to which this image is contained in the corresponding Lagrangian Grassmannian.
The talk is an independent continuation of my talk from January. The presentation is based on joint works with V. Gorbunov, L. Guterman, A. Kazakov, and D. Talalaev.
