ReportSense — Privacy Policy

INTRODUCTION
ReportSense is a medical report and medicine analyser app. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
We built ReportSense to be as private as possible. There are no user accounts, no login required, and your scan history stays on your device.
WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1. Camera and Photos
When you scan a report or medicine, the image is captured using your device camera or selected from your gallery. This image is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate a health explanation. We do not store this image on any server.
2. Scan Results
The analysis result — the text explanation of your report or medicine — is saved locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to any server or database controlled by us.
3. No Personal Accounts
ReportSense does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identity information.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Images you scan are sent to Google Gemini API solely to generate a health explanation. They are not stored, sold, or shared beyond this purpose.
Scan history and results are stored locally on your device and are only accessible to you.
We do not use your data for advertising.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
ReportSense uses the following third-party service:
Google Gemini API
Your scanned images are processed by Google's Gemini AI to generate explanations. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not control how Google processes data on their end. We recommend reviewing Google's policy if you have concerns about AI processing.
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
All scan history is stored locally on your device using standard Android local storage. It is not backed up to the cloud or transmitted to our servers.
Images sent to Google Gemini API are transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). We do not retain copies of your images after the analysis is returned.
HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control.
To delete individual scans:
Open ReportSense → History → tap the scan you want to remove → delete it.
To delete all data:
Uninstall the app. This permanently removes all scan history stored by ReportSense from your device.
We do not hold any of your data on external servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
ReportSense is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has used this app and you have concerns, please contact us.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
